Ok, like everyone else I’ve seen the commercials, and read the ingredients which seem pretty good. As Ive said in previous reviews, I buy high protein food for my dog Jack and my Boxer granddog Oscar. I mixed this foor with their old brand just so they would get used to this. They ate it well, with no excessive gas. Both of these guys enjoy it so I think its worth the few extra bucks. Good luck!

Quality dog food and not too expensive
We have two miniature Yorkies that are part of our family, we always want to do and buy the best we can for them. They both eat this food very well and it doesn’t bother their little tummies, highly recommend.

Great Brand
This is a great quality of dog food. Unfortunately, my pups don’t like eating hard dog food, but they will eat this brand most days. They are both chihuahuas and the size of the food is great for them since they are smaller pups. This is a great brand and I will continue to purchase it for them.

Consistent results = happy pup and owner!
My vet told me that having a dog that is overweight is one of the leading causes of a shortened lifespan. This scared me. I also own a Labrador, a breed that has no “off” button for eating like some others.After a long hunt for a dog food that works for weight control and general health management, I can happily say my lab is now 10 and is still in great health. Many people are impressed with how “young” she still acts.Don’t expect amazing results without strict portion control and watching that you don’t give them too many unhealthy treats during the day (or worse–table scraps!).Also, the good dose of glucosamine for the joints is great, and you can tell its quality by the fact that it smells somewhat like something humans could even eat (funny to think about, but makes me feel better! :).Thank you Blue Buffalo for helping me keep my pup healthy and trim up until now and hopefully for several more years! 🙂

Great ingredients, low protein, fair price
I like that it’s low protein. I have an 18 yr. old and needs to be on a low protein for her kidneys. The food that the vet recommends is Hills and the #1 ingredient is corn… so stupid. My dogs are small and wouldn’t eat it at first, but I just blend up some low protein treats or boiled chicken and top it off. The only thing I wish is for a velcro to seal the package off to keep it fresh. I have to pour it in an old food bag that has one, which is kind of annoying because it spills all over the floor while trying to poor it in the other. Please update your bag to keep it fresh! Otherwise, I’m super happy that my dogs eat it and its healthy. I’m now on autoship.

My 16 years old dog has been eating this the last 6+ years with no health issue. I choose this since I think the ingredents work well for senior dog. Mine is a pekingnese. He loves eating this on daily basis.

My little guy likes it fine
I have a 5-lb Pomeranian, and this size is just fine for him. I fed him the puppy variety when that was appropriate and then he graduated flawlessly to the adult version with no upsets. I favor the dry food for the chewing benefits and he snacks on wholesome people food when he can get it! I leave this for him to nosh on at his leisure and it never gets soggy, doesnt have any unpleasant odor and the vet says he’s in great shape. If he likes it, his teeth look pretty good from chewing on it and it’s easy to keep.,( a bag lasts him 3-4 months!) what’s not to like?

My adult dachshund was super picky with the kibble he would eat, or he would not finish all of it when he ate it. As soon as we bought him this kibble, he devoured it! He absolutely loves it and we can tell it’s a quality kibble. Although next time we might get him the grain-free version, this brand is our new go-to!

We have a yorkie-poo, around 12#, and he seems to enjoy the Blue Buffalo offering, with the single exception of the smaller darker bits that are part of the mix. Our boy manages to “pick out” the little bits that he doesn’t like (which is why I gave flavor only 4 stars), and puts them on the floor next to the food bowl. Why not change brands? He seems to thrive, and at 15 years old, he still has the energy of a puppy, and that’s important to us. We’ll buy again!

I have tried MANY BRANDS, over the MANY YEARS,,, and my Yorky- mutt mix just eats the meat, spits out the dry food.This however, was different. I do cook for my two dogs, and kind of mix up chicken with kibble. This one, my yorky- mutt ate most of her dry, and came backLater for the rest. So I am impressed. We pickUp my neighbors dog every night too, to walk her or bring home to visit, and she WANTS IT!! So he got her a bag of her own.
