    great find!

I first started using this staple remover about 30 years ago when I worked in the court house and believe me, staples had to be removed to finish processing. No larks on the paper were left with this remover compared to the others. Will continue to use and hope you have the same great results!

    The best staple remover.

I had a similar staple remover, and lost it. I’ve tried other types, but this is by far the best staple remover design I’ve ever used. It’s strong, slides underneath a staple quite easily, works staples out of the paper without struggling, doesn’t hurt one’s hands to hold, and appears it will last forever, if not lost.

My favorite type of staple remover

This may sound nerdy, but I’ve removed a lot of staples. And I HATE the chompy ones. I see a lot of bad reviews about these push-style ones, which makes me believe that people don’t understand how they’re used. The reason they claim to be “no tear” is because when you use it correctly, it really is supposed to not tear the paper. The proper way to use one of these is to have your paper on a flat surface, then push the remover under the staple, holding the paper down until the staple comes all the way out. Trust me, a flat surface is a MUST with these things. The results should speak for themselves 😉

The best darn staple remover ever!

I hate bad staplers and I really hate bad staple removers. I had a staple remover once that was awesome, but it finally wore out because most of it was made of plastic with just the metal tip to remove the staples. So I bought some other staple removers and they were terrible. Either the metal tip was too thick, or it wasn’t shaped properly and would rip the paper when removing staples.I saw this one and tried it and I love it! It got a workout the other day when I had to go through a file so I could scan it. There so many staples to be removed! The thing worked like a charm!!Now I have some at the office and have one for home! Staples beware!!The only think I would change about this device would be to have a rubber or plastic thicker handle on it. But other than that, this staple remover is perfection, and it looks as if it will last forever!

    I was pleasantly surprised!

We are moving to a new building with a mandate to take no paper files with us so there is a LOT of scanning happening. Therefore, a LOT of staple removal. This instrument is far and above better than the ‘jaws’ type. The description states ‘No Tear’ but I would say less tear – it depends mostly on how many pages were stapled and how long the staple was in the document (staples do rust after a while). I will note that I had to get a pair of leather gloves due to the amount of documentation (24 bankers boxes full and counting!) but for regular office use, you should be able to do without gloves. Note that this is for regular staples – I had to get a plyers-type remover for heavy duty staples. Very pleased with the product – if I was still buying office products for the company, these would be my go-to for a staple remover.

Best stick-type staple remover I’ve used

This is the first stick type remover I like. It fits in a pencil cup, and the thick metal is smooth all around and doesn’t bend. The wide tapered tip is easy to slide under a staple, which moves up and stays on the tool after removal. It rarely rips paper (usually only if it’s very thin) and is not uncomfortable to hold. I haven’t tried it on the longer heavy duty staples, but as sturdy as this is, I’d probably still reach for my heavy duty remover for those.

    Surprisingly Efficient

Sure how to use this right away by looking at it I assumed it was like other staple remover’s that I could use to where you kind of pry the staple out. That’s not the case with this one however. This was real simple to use, you just slide the underneath the staple and continue to push through and in the process it forces the staple up and out of the paper.

    Staples removed

Had to remove hundreds of staples to scan a couple totes of old family documents. Way easier than the claw removers. Even worked great for thin typewriter paper. The key is to leverage the hard surface below. I found that you can hook the staple with you pointer fingernail to hold it in place as the ridges of the remover extract the staple.

I love love love this staple remover. I love it because I can remove staples from the front or back without damage to the paper unlike the standard staple removers. I can still copy and scan paper without the headache of paper catching in the machine. The removers are durable. I left my old remover at an old job and HAD to get this one. When and if I leave this job, the remover comes with me.This Seller did not price gauge me. It was delivered as promised.

This is the very best staple remover

This is the very best staple remover. You can take down a bulletin board in minutes without damaging the papers, and you can remove staples from bunches of papers without tearing any of them. I love it. I have used this staple remover for 25-plus years and now bought one for my granddaughter who is a first-year teacher. It is quick, efficient, and comfortable to handle. I have used the pinch-type of staple remover and more expensive ones similar to this one, but this one is by far the best and easiest to use.

    The World’s Best Staple Remover

I have purchased many of these over the years and given them to other people as well. I detest those pincher type staple removers as they are difficult to maneuver and end up tearing the paper. Keep it simple. It works perfectly to remove even thick staples from PAPER easily. This also is a helpful tool to pry open cardboard box flaps that have too much glue. It even can be used as a screwdriver when a screwdriver is no where to be found. Buy 3, keep one in your desk, one in the junk drawer and one in your tool box. NOTE : Someone gave this only one star because they were using it to remove staples from wood but I think this is designed for paper or cardboard. Another person gave it one star because they were using it on the bottom side of the staples and prying the two curled pieces of metal, then pulling the staple out manually. INSTRUCTION: With paper laying on a table with the flat side of the staple facing up, then slid the narrow end of the staple remover through the staple which loosens the back side of the staple and pulls it out as you keep pushing. It’s really easy, just hard to explain with words.

    Leverage is Key

As I’ve aged, I’ve discovered the need for “helping tools” to make daily living a little more comfortable. One such “helping tool” is the Stanley Bostich Staple Remover. Yes, it is a convenient staple remover without question, but I chose its design to help me pry open plasticware lids, flashlight covers, electrical boxes, etc. It works exceptionally well for those times when your fingertips need a little help getting under tight container lids or you need to pry a picture loose that has stuck to the wall. Though surely not intended for my purposes, I love this little pry bar for all the help it gives me during my daily routines. If you’re a senior as I am, you need to buy several of these and tuck one away in each room in the house, your purse, and car glove compartment. This little item will help keep your use of bad language to a minimum.

Best Staple Remover Ever and this is how it works . . . .

I use these staple removers at home and at the office. If you need to remove those large copper carton staples then you need the Swingline Heavy Duty Staple Remover which I also own and does an awesome job! The Bostitch staple remover operates by sliding the tip under the center of the staple and then continuing to glide it forward through the staple. The raised sides then force the staple up straightening the ends so that it does not destroy the paper. The long part of the tool is for holding onto – not for pushing down on to pry with. It has a simple and extremely efficient design with no plastic parts to crack or fall off. It works great with most normal office paper unless it is tissue-style paper which is easy to tear during this procedure. While the metal is relatively thin, it is by no means flimsy for the purpose it was designed. It even normally holds onto the staples after removal so that I can remove 3,4,5,6 staples before having to dump them in the trash. This is by far the best staple remover I have ever owned and have never broken one.

    Simplicity

After using a fancier, pricier, supposedly more-ergonomic, modern-looking staple puller, I’ve returned to this one. When sliding the tip under the staple, this device pulls the staple up while expanding and straightening the tips that have been bent and punched through the pages. The result is that the staple is removed in something like a reverse of how it went in. The bottom line is that the staple is pulled out, and the pages are left relatively intact. Other staple pullers seem to force the staple upwards without straightening the ends, resulting in the staple tearing through the pages instead of being threaded out of them. This works, and that’s what matters.

I discovered these in the late 1980’s when i was a new agent recruit for Farmer’s Insurance. I was at the home office for Career School and we were being toured around visiting different departments. This nice fellow was using one of these pulling staples from insurance bills to remove the checks from customers. I was impressed how he was able to remove the staple without tearing the stapled documents. At some point he asked the group if we had any questions and my hand was first to rise. “Where did you get that staple puller” i asked.Been using them for 35 years.

I work with thick files that at times require strong staples to be removed. I have yet to find a staple remover that can come close this remover. Forget all other styles and get this one. Good Staple Remover Replacement

I have used various staple remover types over the decades and really like this one. It has an advantage that predecessor did not have: it holds the removed staple well, without allowing it to drop into the keyboard or other inaccessible places and can then be easily slipped off into the trashcan without any great contortions, as is sometimes necessary with the claw type removers or the older plastic-steel remover blades. And the remover blade widens towards the top third just enough to allow further pushing so that harder to remove staples also come out easily.

    Best staple remover

It’s great if you have to remove a lot of staples. With other removers you have to remove a staple then throw it away. With this remover you can keep removing staples. They stay on till your finished, then you remove and throw away all of them. Someone gave my tax guy one and he loved using it. I had a hard time finding one. None of the stores carried them. It’s not very sturdy but you don’t need to use a lot of pressure to remove the staples.

    Simple, robust and effective

I’ve never used a staple remover that wasn’t the “crocodile” style, but I won’t go back now! The extremely simple design is more effective than the other type, and only very thin papers (like receipts) tore when I tried it out. This simple device is robust, well-designed, free of plastic (i.e. more oil left in the ground, no petrochemical/microplastic pollution at end of life), and extremely cost-effective. Hopefully it’s a buy-it-for-life kinda thing–certainly feels strong enough!

I don’t like the chomper-gripper staple removers much, but when I used this one while in school & work, I started looking for this same one. Guess it should be called a staple slider

This is the best style staple puller, but I see from other reviews that there are some people that don’t think it works great because they do not know how to use it. Not their fault, after all it is called a puller, and they have probably used other kinds that are designed to pull. Used to work in an office that had this type and pulled well over my share of stapes back in the day . Slide it under the staple and just keep sliding until the staple comes up and out, let the staple slide up past the bend on the tool; it is supposed to, and it will store multiple staples there so you can keep on removing several staples in succession while the tool holds them. Just keep on sliding and don’t pull on the staple after it comes loose. If you have a lot of staples to pull, it is also efficient because you can remove staple after staple, as they just keep sliding up the tool and you only need to stop and get them off when there are too many that they start jamming up the function. Usually you can just remove the stack of staples by sliding them off with your thumb. Do not pull unless the staple is stuck in the paper (usually on a large stack where the staple is not fully through and folded on the back) and then you should pull on only one side of the staple at a time; pull one side out of the papers by rotating your wrist to the opposite side and pull in the opposite direction, while holding the staple down on the other side with your thumb. That is easier than it sounds and is natural to do. Use this simply designed basic tool right and you will wonder why any other design even exists.

This is perfect! All the others I’ve used are junk. I read the one and two star reviews etc. and I can only guess that they received a cheap knockoff, or they are just using it incorrectly. You slide the tip under and push it forward and the staple rides up the side rails and comes right out. Keep a finger on top of the staple, then release into the trash. Perfect!!Also, it’s an office product, not for heavy duty use.

This thing works. Removes the staple with one stroke and does not damage the paper. Every time.

Best staple remover design in existence. Simple and it works. The point slides under the staple easily, and as you push it through, the ramped sides unfold and lift the staple without damaging the paper. No other design comes close – the local stores all have the hinged things that bite fingers and tear the paper while jamming up, or the newfangled “ergonomic” plastic thing with a thin metal tongue that just slides under the staple but doesn’t unbend or remove it at all.
