Staple wires too brittle but still better than most brands
When removing staples, the wires break more easily that older Swingline staples. This is a common problem with staple wires in recent years. Swingline should try to improve the tensile strength of the wires and assure their customers that theirs do not break.

I’ve used the Office alternative and as soon as the load gets thicker they fail. Not so with Swingline because they use good quality steel in their staples. what a pia when you can’t get it to work. Never happens with Swingline so buy them!

Not sure how to rate staples, but as far as staples go, these ones can bind 5-10 sheets together depending on the paper weight. At 20lb paper, the staple can penetrate more sheets than say heavy weight card stock. So it’s not all about the staples if your stapler keeps jamming , don’t throw the stapler!Mechanically speaking, the staples look thin but appear to have good compression strength which allow the ends to fold over after piercing the stack of paper you are binding togetherAlso of note, the staple ends that pierce the paper, look nicely designed with good, sharp angles like a knife’s edge.A staple is a complex engineered item so the next time your stapler jams, blame it on something else!

Even though these particular swingline staples are light weight it works well with a great staple gun. It can break loose while loading it but once it is in place, it works good. It doesn’t jam too much to complain about. It is worth buying, if you have a big job to use if for, due to the affordable pricing. My next purchase will be swingline’s premium staples for my daily need. These particular staples are excellent for big staple job needs to save on costs

What can I say, it’s a stapler, does as it should, works as advertised. I’m glad I ordered a box of staples as well, it came with no staples (-1 star). Easy to use either holding or sitting on my desk top. Sleek, cool design and functions well. I’ve only used it to staple a few pages, so, if it doesn’t preform for more pages, I’ll come back and modify my review.

Both items the staples and clips were exactly what was expected. The only reason for 4 out 5 stars was that the items were basically thrown into a large box and rattled around until they got here. Luckily the staple boxes didn’t open, although the plastic “hat box” the clips came in was cracked. The items were good, packaging not so much.
