My parrot was not doing very well , in fact this vet said he shouldn’t be alive , well I didn’t take that news very well she told me about this high potency bird food , so I bought , my parrot got much better and I feed this to him all the time now , and he’s still alive against all odds .

Requiring it to be the only food fed for 6 months goes against all healthy feeding recommendations, especially for young birds. Young parrots must be introduced to as wide a variety of foods as possible for lifelong health. I use it as a drying supplement in very sticky foods such as mashed sweet potato, which my baby budgie has a tendency to fling around instead of eating.

My vet recommended adding Harrison’s High Potency Mash to my cockatiels’ food for nutritional benefits. My cockatiels consume this as part of their regular diet which keeps them healthy. When the seller is Harrison’s Bird Foods, I can be sure that the product is fresh with a long shelf life/expiration date.

This is a very nutritious food for smaller birds, I use it in a mix I create with others.

I have an eleven-year old budgie with a very sensitive tummy. Bread made him wheeze. Despite the fact I bought him organic fruits and veggies and washed them thoroughly before giving them to him, something was making him violently ill (he was vomiting every night uncontrollably.) After talking to a vet and being advised due to my bird’s age and condition, he probably wouldn’t survive a round of medication, I resigned myself to making these final days as comfortable as possible. He seemed to be less violently ill if I kept him on a bland diet of trusted seeds, egg-biscuits, oatmeal, and vitamin water, so that’s what we’ve been doing for the past couple months (yep, months.) I figured that since the end hasn’t been as near as it seemed, I needed to get him some better nutrition and ran across Harrison’s High potency mash. I got it earlier this week and this is a flippin’ miracle product. When he turned his nose up at it, I mixed it equally with his normal Volkman egg food and he devoured it. I also offered Harrison bird bread (which he loves and has not caused him to wheeze. Yay!) Overnight the vomiting stopped. His eyes are bright. He’s put on weight. His feathers and beak look better. And he got his personality back. Tonight, he looked me straight in the eye and began trying out some new words. I don’t know what’s in this but I wish I had discovered it eleven years ago.

Food is perfect but, buy superfine size. which is better for feeding. the ingredient is slightly different with superfine or above(high potency).
