This primer is a rather thick consistency,but it evens lut & foundation brushes on smoothly. I feel it does a really good job, & I use less foundation . Reasonable price for a product I think works as well as higher dollar options Ive tried.

Jennifer Coolidge nails this on the TV commercial. It is indeed very sticky you almost don’t want to put it on but it settled down nicely and makeup does stick. It’s not going anyplace including transferring to clothes.

I jokingly tell my husband this is like Elmers Glue but for your face! It reminds me of the blue glue I used for crafts when I was a kid. However this stuff is no joke. I really like it. It is an excellent primer. Yes, it is a little tacky but not enough for me to really care. I also use it on my eyelids as an eye primer and it does great. I’ve been really happy with it so far!

Works great at extending the wear of my foundation (I normally use L’Oreal Infallible 24hr liquid). Leaves a nice tacky layer on the skin for makeup to grab onto. This version offers a light glow when you apply it, but I find it goes away after I’ve put on the rest of my makeup.

You cannot get a better primer, especially for the price! The primer spreads well but is very tacky and weird the first time you use it..Don’t worry, once you put your foundation on, the primer does its magic, The makeup looks flawless and lasts all day. Just make sure you spread evenly on face. If you miss a spot with the primer, that part of face will look patchy.

First I will say that this primer does keep your makeup on. It’s sticky at first and not that easy to spread so you have to be quick. But, I am an older female and didn’t find the product the right one for my face. It made my face shiny and puffy – maybe that last was sensitivity. I thought I would appreciate the pink and the glow but that glow on me was really just too shiny. It also caused foundation to settle into lines more than usual. So, it didn’t do what it should for a face my age. That said, I think this product is probably good for someone younger if you can get past the initial sticky feeling. I also had no trouble returning,so I am giving this 4 stars based on the qualifications I mentioned. I do like Elf products so I will return to the Elf primer I was using before (Skin Suntouchable – which goes on very smooth and holds my makeup just fine).

It’s hard to speak about this without almost gushing! I’ve never been a fan of primers because I’ve failed to see what they do. I use them but i suppose only because I think I’m supposed to. This stuff here, COMPLETE game changer. The first time I used it, I saw my skin in the sun and it looked great! Pores were gone or greatly diminished, wrinkles largely reduced and my skin had a healthy glow. I’m in love. I’m 54 years old and if it will do this for my face imagine what it will do for younger skin. I’m back to wearing makeup every day solely due to r this primer. Thank you e.l.f.!

I have mature skin and was concerned that this primer would lack moisturizing. I could not be more wrong. For years, I have always worn expensive moisturizers under my makeup. I would rely on face powders to “set” my makeup. Using this primer, my skin does not dry out, my pores appear smaller, and my makeup last and I have a more translucent look.
