I’ve had to learn a whole new way to line my brows with this product. I normally use a sharp point but these had a fantastic deal so I gave them a try. They are definitely not precision, so the line is much much thicker. It does last all day and the color match is good.

I’m amazed at how good this is for $3. It doesn’t have that great triangular top like the Jane Iredale one does, but this is a fraction of the price and goes on smoothly and does the job just fine! Budget friendly! However the tip is pretty thick so you don’t get to replicate eyebrow hairs. Instead you color in your shape. If you comb your brows a little after applying it helps keep a natural look.

I ran out of my brow liner one day, and my sister gave me this pencil to use…I fell in love!! I was using NYX, which is also a very good brow liner, but I think this one beats it out for color and longevity. It goes on smooth and has a very natural look that lasts. I am new to the ‘Elf fan club,’ and not disappointed! I see why this line is a good competitor with the pricier luxury lines. You don’t have to be wealthy or take out a loan to look beautiful and put together. May I begin by saying, it is more important to me that a beauty line be cruelty-free than anything else. Elf Instant Lift Brow pencil in Taupe is beautifully well made with beautiful results. The liner is creamy but stays put and has a very convenient spoolie to neaten up the effect. Taupe is perfect for anyone with blonde to light brown hair. It is noticeable, without an overly strong effect. Brows look foolproof and natural, not drawn on. The consistency is perfect! I highly recommend Elf Instant Lift Brow Pencil. It performs like brow liners/powders with an exponentially higher price point. Such a win! Great results for a cost of much less than a large late from a coffee shop! Can’t go wrong with those details.

I have been using this same brow pencil for years, and I love it!! It’s the perfect shade for my brows, and allows me to fill them in just enough without overdoing it. The pencil doesn’t need to be sharpened, you simply twist to make the pencil tip come up and down. This brow pencil is also 2-sided, it has the pencil on one side and a brow brush on the other! Great for finishing touches.

It does seem easy to apply and the brush on the end is convenient…it’s just too light for medium brown hair/brows. Otherwise, it seems like a good product and the price was right.

Thank you 90’s. Due to overdoing my eyebrows a number of years ago, I have sparce hair in my eyebrows, This is perfect for every day use. Easy to use, easy to twist out nib, good spoolie brush on the opposite end.At $3, its a steal. ELF cosmetics used to be priced $1-5 but have now become more ‘mainstream’ and their prices have shot up on their brushes and facial makeup/serums, etc.This eyebrow pencil is still a good value and lasts me about 3 months. I recommend it

I am really excited to have found a product line of makeup I can wear. I am in my early 60s and have never liked or worn makeup, but in the winter my pale skin can look very washed-out and my brows have thinned after menopause. I just got this and tried it out and was very impressed – it is such a subtle sheer tint that nobody would ever know I am wearing makeup but it makes a difference. I love that it is cruelty-free – there is no reason that bunnies and rats should suffer from cosmetic testing in laboratories when there are safe products already known. I tried this and the e.l.f. Monochromatic Multi Stick in glistening peach because they were so cheap and I love both of them. I will try more of their products and will be recommending to my sisters and my 95-year-old mom too! I don’t wear any foundation – I am a child of the 1960s and an old hippie chick. Just wanted to lift my color during the dark days of winter when sun is hard to come by!

This is probably one of the most reasonably priced eyebrow pencils on the market. I have tried cheaper ones, but they felt like an actual lead pencil when using it and the color did not show up very well. This pencil, however is smooth and colors in the eyebrows well. I like the brush on the end as well which helps with a polished look at the end. I really like the price point as well. Generally the cheaper ones don’t work well and the more expensive ones can be a hit or a miss. So you can end up spending a whole lot of money on an eyebrow pencil that doesn’t work well for you! This one is cheap enough, that if it doesn’t work out for you-you are not out a whole lot of money!

Look, I’m no makeup artist. For me, a ginger with very sparse and thin brows, this works great to fill things in and make it look like I have eyebrows. Definitely more of a “crayon” type–so if you’re looking to make detailed hair lines, this isn’t the product for you. It stays where it needs to but definitely isn’t smudge proof. I’d say it’s a great product for someone who does basic makeup to just perk their face up again. For the price, I haven’t been able to find anything that works any better.

Based on another individual’s review that mentioned the blonde shade is the perfect color for blondes, I decided to try it and I agree. Most eyebrow pencils suggest purchasing a Taupe shade for blondes, but the Taupe shade is always too dark in the pencils that I have tried. Elf’s blonde shade is the perfect shade for blondes. It goes on nicely, looks very nice, and it’s reasonably priced.
