    Easy on hands, great quality

    I love the quality of my ARS Signature pruners, so I treated myself to these needle nose pruners. I pruned my Silver Falls Dichondra with these snips this morning and found them easy to maneuver with my arthritic hands. The blades are very sharp and just like my other ARS pruners, I expect they will stay that way for years.

    Best little pruners in the world.

    I was introduced to these when I was a plant propagator for a local nursery back in the 80’s. This is my third pair. The first pair I finally broke trying to cut a branch too big for the pruners. The second pair was stolen so I had to order my third one. Cannot garden without them.

    Needn’t Look No Further for Your Needle Nose Pruners

    ARS HP-300LDX Stainless Steel Needle Nose Fruit Pruners- You aren’t going to get any better. Very sharp. Balanced. Ergonomic. Comfortable. Cut the smallest of small things like deadheading blossoms off Spirea with ease. A pleasure to use. Uses a loop hold to secure the handles when not in use. Leave them in the will.

She is 88 and has arthritis in her hands. These clippers are easy for her to use in her garden. She told me she is using them daily.

    Excellent for smaller and larger jobs!

    I thought that the usage of these needlenose-like shears would be limited to smaller and more intricate jobs, but they’re also solid and sharp enough to easily lop off stems as thick as 1/4” (or slightly thicker) with no problem. Just keep ‘em clean and lightly oiled after each use and they’re like new next time you need them. FYI: I use them 3-4x weekly and I have 20 rose bushes!

    Needle Nose is what you need for your deadheading, light pruning, flower cutting.

    I have used less expensive “flower” pruners for some time. These are a much better quality, cut easier, cut larger stems and stay sharp. Trusted Margaret’s opinion on Away to Garden blog and am very happy I bought these.

    Good product for fine pruning in the garden and yard

    I like how nice and long the nose is to get into tight places. I like and dislike the locking strap. I like how it stays out of the way so you never have to worry about it locking itself or getting in the way of your work area. I dislike it because it requires 2 hands to slip the strap around the handles to lock close the pruner, which is cumbersome if you are not using it constantly and you’re holding cuttings in one hand. I’ve only had this for a couple of months, but it hasn’t had any sticking issues and has stayed sharp, no rusting.

    Superior quality pruners

    I love these. I used them regularly since I own a lotof indoor plants. Very high quality and very sharp! Great design and it will last years. My most used of 3 ARS product I own. All of them high quality and work better than any disposable cheap items out there! Highly recommend it! I use a tiny bit of (cooking) coconut oil on it after cleaning/every use!

    Top Quality

    After going through several cheaper brands I found these Pruners. I use them not just for pruning but for trimming grass ( they are that sharp ) and cutting palm stems,branches larger then they were ever intended to cut, Date Palms stems which are difficult to cut and other around the yard stuff. They have never broken.I resharpen as needed and oil them.Living in Florida I use them often and for hours at a time.They last me about two years but with the abuse I give them I cannot find anything else that comes even close to performing as well as these do. I buy two at a time every two years and have done so for six years.

    Brilliant!

    These are the most brilliant piece of kit you could want for general use around the garden. I use them the whole time for cutting flowers, in the greenhouse – I fact pretty much anything which doesn’t need something as heavy duty as secateurs. Wouldn’t be without them. I had a pair for years and was devastated when I lost them. Ordered two as a replacement and now have a spare tucked away.

    Great nippers

    I LOVE THESE!! These nipper easily cut through smaller stems and stalks plus is perfect for nipping fruit off. The small thin blades make it easy to nudge in between the leaves and branches to get right where you need. Great product. Nice and sharp and well designed

    Daily use trimmer

    Needle nose trimmers have great strength for a small trimmer and reach into nooks and crannies of landscape plantsRetain sharpness for a long time, red handles make easy to spot if lay them down for plant adjustment or forget where you placed them. Really prefer this size over larger trimmers which tires out hand if doing a lot of nips and tucks on the plants. Excellent value for length of service when well cared for.

    These are great, sharp

    These are great, sharp, easily cut though a few thick stems like hydrangea stalks. Fits my hand but I did a few times think it might be handy to have them not open quite as large for easier quick snipping — could make use more difficult for very petite hands.

    Best garden snips I’ve ever owned

    I’m a professional gardener and these are the best, sharpest snips I’ve ever owned. I use Felco F-8s for my larger pruning needs but these work great for more precision pruning and deadheading highly reccomend!

    Needn’t Look No Further for Your Needle Nose Pruners

    ARS HP-300LDX Stainless Steel Needle Nose Fruit Pruners- You aren’t going to get any better. Very sharp. Balanced. Ergonomic. Comfortable. Cut the smallest of small things like deadheading blossoms off Spirea with ease. A pleasure to use. Uses a loop hold to secure the handles when not in use. Leave them in the will.

    I love these. I used them regularly since I own a lotof indoor plants. Very high quality and very sharp! Great design and it will last years. My most used of 3 ARS product I own. All of them high quality and work better than any disposable cheap items out there! Highly recommend it! I use a tiny bit of (cooking) coconut oil on it after cleaning/every use!
