Finches really like it
I was a bit unsure about this as I’ve always used 100% Niger thistle in the thistle bag. But the finches and other birds really like this. In addition to yellow finches I had red-wing blackbirds and even a downy woodpecker feeding.

I have a lot of birds in my backyard, specially finches. I see now that all of the othersmall birds are also there eating together and fighting for the last seed. Those birdsact like school children, lots of fun watching them.

Great Finch Food
I had only used “wild bird” seed in the past and thought I’d try something new. Much to my amazement, this food drew a multitude of various sorts of finches and smaller birds. These birds had not frequented our yard before using this food, so I’ll be back for more!

BEWARE MAY CONTAIN PEANUTS OR TREENUTS
Yes our finches love it but I recently found out that bird seed can contain tree nuts or peanuts. If you have an allergic child BEWARE and don’t let them around the birdseed or handle it. I wish there were warnings on this. My friends child was just in the ER from a severe reaction from spreading birdseed! There should be a warning!

This is a good, less expensive
This is a good, less expensive, substitute for feeding pure nyger seed to finches.The small seeds and sunflower chips in this blend feed through the little ports in my Droll Yankee finch feeder. The birds seem to like it, to the extent that all the perches were filled with goldfinches yesterday afternoon.No dust or waste and a conveniently sized package for filling a feeder.

Birds Love It
With nine inches of snow on the ground today the finches mobbed this seed. Even a Blue Jay came by. A two liter bottle bird feeder is half empty after only eight hours. Looks like it is so popular it will need weekly refilling. Will be putting out another feeder today.

This is amazing stuff. I thought Nyer was the ultimate but it is not. Finches and all sorts of small birds just love this product. We call it Finch Crack–that says it all!

Best finch food we’ve found
We love to feed finches and other wild birds, and this seed is the perfect mix for the finch feeder. Other, cheaper brands tend to have filler that blocks the little holes and is not as desirable to the birds. We also love the convenience of having the product shipped to our door.

My wild birds really like this mixture. More golden millet than regular finch mix.
I like to mix this with regular finch mix for my wild birds because it is a little expensive. I bought it on-line because I could not get it locally. Sometimes they have it but it is not always in stock. Some places have discontinued it. I have been able to find some locally lately but really like the product and would definitely buy it again.

This food attracted cheerful house finches, chickadees, and cooing mourning doves to my bird feeder every morning and afternoon without fail. They appeared to love the mix, so I assume it is very fresh and tasty. Unfortunately a neighbor at my apartment complex complained that the birds woke him up and demanded that I remove the feeder, so I guess that demonstates how popular my feeding station was.

My kinches disappeared for over 2 years. Maybe fires Not sure why. This year I saw a couple and decided to put up a feeder. Now I may need to ask Uncle Joe for financial assistance They are back big time and eating me out of house and home. I’m so blessed. What a beautiful playful joyful bird to just sit and watch.
