We get our butter in a one pound block. This dish is just the right size to keep it in and I like that it’s is clear glass. It is simple and clean and will go with any table setting.

It was just what I ordered. I loved the vintage look. I ordered 2. One came whole and one the base was broken. The packaging could have been better.

I bought this because it was supposed to hold a 1 pound block of better from Costco. It doesn’t. We have to shave about a 1/4 inch off the block on all sides for it to fit. It is a sturdy dish and easily cleanable but doesn’t work for what I wanted it for.

I wanted and expected the edges to smooth. I also expected to be able to store one pound of butter, but you will need to halve the 3rd stick lengthwise to get 3 quarter pound into the dish.Love that it says Butter, but I think the price should have been Half what it was.

I really like the look and feel of this butter dish but it keeps breaking during shipping. I’ve had to return it twice now, starting to think the seller needs to package their product better. There is nothing in between the lid and the base so it continues to snap.
