Super easy clean and cook pan
This pan is very easy to use when cooking, nothing so far has stuck to it. Cleans just as easy and the 12 inch is a good size pan. I bought it with the lid which works great too. I have bought many pans including some 3 times more expensive and this pan so far is the best we have used. It’s so good i am now going to buy the 8″ and 10″ and throw my old pans out.

Waited several months before writing this review, and have used the skillet almost daily. When I first got it, the lid would make a popping noise, as though the metal rim and the glass weren’t fitted quite right. That noise went away after 3 weeks. Since then, the skillet and lid have been top-shelf. The pan heats quickly and retains heat well, shows no burn marks or scratches on the cooking surface, and cleans easily. (Yes, I use the regular amount of butter and/or oil, with ‘non-stick’ understood to mean easy clean up). The handle will heat up a bit, but not all the way to the end; no silicone sleeve is required unless you’ve put the skillet in the oven, which I’ve done twice. The cooking surface always cleans up well and, as noted, there are no scratches, though metal tongs to turn meat is the only non-scratch utensil I’ve used. The bottom of the skillet is showing some marks from the gas burner, but whatever. It’s as though this pan were made from a re-entry tile from the space shuttle. Good product.

I used to have a regular teflon and didn’t like the chemicals so I got this. Wow, this thing is so light but still cooks really evenly, and it’s even better non-stick than Teflon. Never going back

Great for eggs and pancakes. After about a year or so there seems to be buildup that causes things to stick. I use one part white vinegar to 4 parts water and let soak for an hour then wash off. After that I use a Baking soda paste with a gentle wipe. They almost work as good as new.

This pan came in quick and clean.I must say that this is a very good looking pan and so far nothing has stuck to it. We have have washed it multiple times by hand and so far it looks just like new. Also worth mentioning is that it seems to heat up pretty evenly throughout the pan. I have a gas burn stove and it seems to be holding up just fine!

I like the non stick properties of this pan. The food almost slides around too much. I’m sure, with use that will change. We’ll see. The handle does not get hot. I have a Curtis Stone pan with handles like fire, even with the silicone covers. This is perfect, no burns. I do always use a little butter or oil and I never use metal utensils, so it should last. So far, I love this pan.

This is my third Blue Diamond pan. My first was the grill pan and my second is the 8” pan. Fried eggs and omelets slide right off with little or no oil. All three pans clean quickly with just warm water and a soft cloth. The grill pan cooks perfect steaks and burgers on the stove top. I highly recommend the brand!

It’s beyond non-stick; the food you cook in it is slippery. It takes a couple of attempts to get the hang of how to turn over certain foods without the food slipping around the pan. Happy endings.

This is my second blue diamond skillet. I have a smaller size also for an individual scrambled egg. I use the larger one with the lid for family meals. I love the ease of the cleanup although they are dishwasher safe, I wash them by hand. That helps them to keep that new look longer.

Disappointed
I love the Blue Diamond series cookware. I was disappointed with this particular fry pan though. It is the green fry pan. The handle on the pan and on the lid become extremely hot during use. It is always necessary to use hot pads just to check the progress of the contents. My Blue Diamond cookware set does not have this problem.

Good nonstick pan. Holds up well
This pan is really good and holds up well. I’ve been using this for a little while and most foods don’t stick and just slide right off the pan. I’ve enjoyed using it so far. Only issue is that it can get stained, which hasn’t come out even after washing. Fortunately it has not affected the nonstick aspect, but it does affect the look. Overall still a really good pan.

Nice but Slippery
This is really nice and well made pan. The only issue I have with it is that on my glass top stove, the pan slides all over if I am working with food as it is cooking. Holding the handle solves the issue, but I never had this issue with any other cookware. It cleans up nicely.

Great Skillet, But…
I’ve bought this skillet because I wanted something non stick that I could use to cook egg white omelets, etc. I’m trying to cut down on fat and cholesterol, and I don’t like to use a lot of oil when I cook. This Blue Diamond skillet is a really nice size and it’s very sturdy, and it comes with a lid. It’s good value for money and overall I like it. The reason I gave 4 stars is because it’s not truly non stick. You have to use quite a bit of oil when cooking things like eggs or omelets to prevent sticking. I’m a little disappointed about this and I should have read more reviews before I bought it. The instructions say that you should avoid using Pam or other non stick sprays, instead use higher smoke point oils like avocado, safflower, canola, etc. If you like to use a lot of oil when you cook, this pan will work great for you, but I hope this review helps others that are looking for a truly non stick pan. I would recommend spending the time researching your options to see which will work best for you, which what I should have done.

Solid construction. Non-stick is excellent.
These pans are a good value for the price. Sturdy, thick, construction. I haven’t had any problems with paint chipping, etc. Handles work well to disappate heat.The ceramic nonstick works very well. But, in my experience, the lifespan is not as long as with Teflon. But if you are trying to avoid PFAS, this is the next best thing.All ceramic nonstick I’ve bought (across several brands including GreenPan) all wear out in about a year (of almost daily use and hand washing). I’ve found cleaning with a soft sponge, not the scratchy side of a ScotchBrite or ScrubDaddy, will help prolong the life a little. But, even then, be prepared to buy new ones after 12-18 months or deal with some sticking.

A cooking dream, but mine was apparently defective
I wanted some nice pans that would make cooking easier so I bought a set of ceramic pans, but wanted a larger pan too so I purchased this 12 inch one. I would rather it came with a glass lid, but since it didn’t I purchased that as well. Cooking on these ceramic pans is like a dream come true with nothing sticking and easy cleanup. Food slides around so easily that I can flip things like a professional chef. Somehow, breakfast tastes better when cooking in these pans. Perhaps because I’m not having to scrap it off the bottom of the pan. However…Upon receiving the pan(s) the first thing I did was season it along with my full set. It then went into the cupboard. Each pan with it’s own lid. It sat in there for a month. Although I have used all the pans in the full set I purchased, I have never used this particular pan, but please keep reading. My rules for my pans are: • Do not go above medium heat • Silicone and wooden utensils only • Hand wash only with sponge – no scouring pads – not even plastic ones • Let pans cool before washing • No nesting the pans • Season pans once a monthI season by coating the pan with oil. Place it in a 300 degree oven for two minutes. Let the pan cool and wipe out the remaining oil. I feel the little bit of time this task takes was well worth it to keep the pans non stick ceramic coating from degrading.I went so far as to post a notice on the exhaust fan above the stove listing the rules for family members. Imagine my dismay when I went to season my pans for the second time only to find a chip in the ceramic coating and gouges along the rim of this pan – even though the pan has just been sitting in the cupboard with the lid sitting on top of it. Is it possible that the lid caused the gouges? Hard to believe the pan could be so easily susceptible to damage, but there is no way the lid can cause the chip in the ceramic coating as the lid can’t touch that spot. Note that there is PLENTY of room in this cupboard so the pans are not packed in there stacked on top of each other. Is this pan really so vulnerable that it becomes damaged just sitting in the cupboard?I’ve examined my other ceramic pans and have found no damage so I’m hoping I simply received a defective 12 inch pan and have arranged to receive a replacement. Not wanting to risk potential damage on the rim of the new pan, I have also ordered a new lid with a silicone rim. It will protect the rim of the pan. This should be unnecessary as the pan should be able to tolerate putting a lid on it without causing damage. Chips in the ceramic coating is another story. We’ll see what happens.Putting aside my negative experience with this particular pan, they are all great to cook with. The only issue might be the handle. It’s metal, but it’s hollow. This allows heat to travel up the handle more quickly than a solid handle. I haven’t had any problems with the handle getting too hot as others have had, but I do notice that the closer the handle is to the pan then the hotter it is. Sure, that’s normal, but this gets hotter quicker. As I said, I have not yet hat an issue with the handle getting to hot to handle, but as a precaution I also purchased silicone handle holders that are used like pot holders. So far I’ve only used them when removing the pan from the oven after seasoning. I recommend the silicone handle holders – whatever style fits your fancy – as they provide a better, safer and less awkward grip than cloth pot holders.I love this (these) pans and am so disappointed that this one turned out not to be very durable, but hopefully the replacement will fair better.

Very happy with the quality
It came in a good package, it has a pleasant color to it and also does have non-stick, I got it as a gift and is very well in performance when cooking, my Dad loves it.

Super easy clean and cook pan
This pan is very easy to use when cooking, nothing so far has stuck to it. Cleans just as easy and the 12 inch is a good size pan. I bought it with the lid which works great too. I have bought many pans including some 3 times more expensive and this pan so far is the best we have used. It’s so good i am now going to buy the 8″ and 10″ and throw my old pans out.

I think this Blue Diamond Cookware Ceramic Nonstick 10″ Frying Pan Skillet, PFAS-Free works very well, easy to clean, and appears to be high quality and safe. I am not paid for this review. The only concerns I have had about high temperature cookware products are long term health side effects and safety. Previously, non stick cookware containing Teflon and use at high temperatures such as 500 degrees raised health safety concerns. There was concern about health side effects in Teflon cookware made before about 2013 and other products containing PFOAs or PTFEs. So far, I have not seen any reported problems with the Blue Diamond ceramic products. That’s great. I am unaware of any long term health side effects or safety concerns from the use of these Blue Diamond products. I see that California has published an AB1200 disclosure list of chemicals that are found in these BD products including aluminum, chromium, nickel, iron, and manganese. Hopefully, long term use will not cause health problems and continues to be safe. Thank you.

Great little nonstick pan, but handle gets VERY hot!
We just go this pan and use it for eggs and a few other things. It is light and easy to handle. It cooks evenly, and the nonstick surface works like a dream. Sunnyside-up eggs slide right out of the pan, perfectly formed onto the plate. I have also successfully created that deliciously crunchy rice at the bottom of a chicken and rice dish. Cleanup is a breeze. We have not had the pan long enough to speak to its durability, but at the price, it will be a great pan even if it does not last forever. (I will follow up if/when I learn anything interesting about the pan’s durability.)However, it only gets four stars because the handle gets scorching hot. Even just frying eggs on the stove, the handle gets too hot to hold. For comparison, our old similar Calphalon pan did not have this problem. If you are going to buy this pan, I recommend also buying the “Lodge ASHH51 Silicone Hot Handle Holder” (item B004QM8W26). It fits this pan perfectly, and you are going to want a handle holder like this for after taking the pan out of the oven anyway.Additional Notes:1. We do always use some fat in the pan.2. We have a gas stove.3. I recommend the “Universal Lid for Pots, Pans and Skillets & Frying Pan – Small Pan lids Fits 6.5″, 7″ and 8″ Diameter Cookware” (item B083MXDY96) for cooking things you need a lid for. It fits perfectly.

It’s fine
It’s a $20 pfas-free non-stick, it doesn’t perform as amazing as a $100+ pan.With moderately decent handling and care, it’s lasted us a year+. We’ve had much more expensive pans begin their descent to unusability after one instance of mistreatment by a guest / roommate who didn’t know better.So no, it doesn’t distribute heat as fast or as evenly as some other pans, its ergonomics are less than stellar, but with even half the care of other pans, it’ll hold up. Only cook foods that actually require a non-stick, use oil, use silicone utensils, handwash gently with a light amount of soap — it takes like 30 seconds. It can survive a few trips through the dishwasher, but I do not trust any non-stick to hold up against dishwashers long-term.

Great for Eggs
I cook lots of scrambled eggs, fried eggs, omelettes almost every day on these pans. I use the 10″. Great quality, it has a good weight in your hand, and nonstick. Doesn’t scratch or scrape easily. Feel way better than basic nonstick pans. Clean easy and don’t rush in the dishwasher. Great on all accounts. Use it for making quesadillas and other things as well. Ordered a 12″ for a replacement for my old sauce pan.ConI did have one show up, like other reviews, that had a film on it that was way more noticable than my first one. Thick, smeared and wouldn’t come off no matter how much I scrubbed. Cooked some eggs and they smelled like chemicals. Promptly returned that one and the replacement was like my first, great! Id recommend replacing yours if it arrives with a film. If that issue is fixed, I’d give this 5 stars.

Its actually nonstick!
Best frying pan i ever had! Nothing sticks and I’ve had it for 2 months dont listen to the bad comments they obviously didn’t use it right. I always use a dab of olive oil and it works perfectly never had a pan this great and actually hold up to the “nonstick” This thing is absolutely amazing

Love the size
Friend recommended Blue Diamond. I think it is a little pricey.The size is perfect. Learning to cook at lower temperature to avoid food sticking. Wish it came with a cover.It is holding up nicely, no discoloration. I use this pan almost everyday, it seems to be of good quality.

Great pans except the hot handles
I wish I read about this in other reviews—the handle gets too hot to hold even if it’s only used on the stove, not inside the oven. It’s almost at the point when one can get burned. None of our old nonstick pans had this problem. It’d be 5 stars if the handle can be improved. It’d have returned the set if I didn’t pass the return window

Instead of buying expensive nonstick pans I just buy cheap ones and abuse them until they need to be replaced. This one is fine except the handle gets really hot even after cooking an egg

Nonstick and beautiful
This is my second blue diamond skillet. I have a smaller size also for an individual scrambled egg. I use the larger one with the lid for family meals. I love the ease of the cleanup although they are dishwasher safe, I wash them by hand. That helps them to keep that new look longer.

Good 10″ skillet not perfect
The 8″ heats fantastic so I bought the 10″. The 10″ does not heat evenly, my pancakes cooked in the middle and then mostly outward. Still like the pan but the heat distribution could be better.

This is a sexy little frying pan. Is that weird to say? Whatever. It’s perfect for making omelettes and smaller stuff. Super easy to clean, gorgeous blue color. I’m got this to see if I liked the quality, now I’m going to buy the rest of the set

Works as advertised.
So far, I have nothing to dislike of this pan after two weeks of use. I’ve cooked multiple eggs (kind of over-easy), and have never had a problem making that work.

Really like this mini skillet
Ended up returning this one because it was the wrong size (please don’t ask -screwed up on a remodel). The smaller size is absolutely perfect for quickly toasting nut/seeds on the stovetop. So far nothing has bonded to the surface – good sign! Price is right. (Measure the drawer first.)
