Nice, or just ok biscuits, too pricey though.
It’s a bit too pricey, but my dog did enjoy them while I had it. Didn’t buy anymore considering how expensive they can get.

Seriously HEALTHY dog treats
These are SERIOUSLY HEALTHY dog treats. I highly recommend these to any dog owner who cares about the health of their dogs. My pomeranian use to have a seizure whn fed the “Bacon”looking snacks. I talked to my vet about it and was told that could not happen. Next vet appointment, I brought some with me and within 15 minutes of my pomeranian eating a tiny piece of the FAKE BACON crap–he had a seizure. We only feed our dog healthy food and we seriously scrutinize the ingredients shown in the bag. This company, I learned, has an excellent reputation for very healthy food for pets. We highly recommend them.

Great biscuits
My dog really likes them. I’d give 5 star, but I’m gonna remove one for – and that’s gonna sound silly – the packaging. I’ve gone through 5 or 6 of these bags, and no matter how careful I am when opening them, the plastic zip thingy that allows you to close the bag always ends up tearing away from the sides of the bag. This hasn’t happened with any of my other treats, which use a wider zip.

Dog treats
My dog is on a special salmon diet. These treats are her favorite. I have checked around and this is the best price for these treats.

Healthy Dog Treat
We like these as a healthy alternative treat for our dog. I trust Blue Buffalo to use good ingredients. The dog likes them very much. The packaging could be better. We get quite a few broken pieces, but I’m able to use them as a topper on the dogs food.

My dog begs for them after years of giving as a treat, hasn’t gone off yet!

The Bomb
This is in the highest percentage of dog treats on the market. It’s not a treat really. It’s serious food. Since I only give my dog the best products on the market, I give him these and also Blue Buffalo Senior canned food, which is rated as the best on many sites. Blue Buffalo is the stuff. Nuff said.

Quick delivery
I had been buying these in local stores and they were not fresh… This package was fresh and not mealy and soft like the bags I bought from the stores… Fast delivery, too!

My Dogs Love These Healthy Treats!
My dogs love ’em! Went for the 24 oz Value Size, but it didn’t feel like the amount was actually more than double of the amount in two 10 oz packages, hence, the 4 stars instead of 5…

2nd time crushed to all get out
What I dislike is the quality of these biscuits are going to heck. By the time I receive them(2nd time this has happened) they are not Dog Biscuits! They are dog Kibble. Is someone running over these bags of dog biscuits? There are also small tiny tiny holes in the bag. The expiration date is good but that is about it!

Good quality
These are awesome, but I have to say that it’s a small little bag for the price. Great quality, though!

My dog loves these treats so much. They are a huge hit, nice size, crunchy, and have different meaty flavors to chose from.
Mvargus –
good price, and my dogs love these
Hard to say much. I have purchased Blue Buffalo products for years and found that my dogs love their biscuits. My worries are always that my dogs will feel these are treats and that they won’t get sick from eating them. These treats met that standard at a good price.

NOT for small, elderly dogs
I didn’t read the reviews carefully enough to see the size of these biscuits (1″ x 1.4″ x 1/2″). They are also a dry, VERY crumbly biscuit. I recently rescued a small (12 pound) senior dog who has needed a number of teeth extracted so I was looking for a smaller, softer treat for him. My dog enjoyed these biscuits but it took him forever to break it down into smaller bites he could handle. I’m still giving a 4-star review because Blue Wilderness has a great reputation and the ingredients met with my approval. I’m docking it 1 star for the crumbliness and limited product description that would have informed me of the biscuit size (telling me I’m getting 10 oz bag informs me of the approximate amount of treats I’m getting; you don’t have to also give the dimension of the bag – give me the size of the biscuit!). I donated the remaining biscuits to the humane society where we adopted Max.

They both enjoy the flavor of the treat
This is a large square crunchy treat. My pit mix with the wide mouth loves it and devours it. Shepard mix with long narrow muzzle has trouble with the treat, messy, lots of crumbs. They both enjoy the flavor of the treat, we’ve purchased several varieties, but it’s coming off subscribe and save because our Shep can’t eat it without a mess.

Dog Loves these !!
My dog goes crazy for these and being grain free, they are not filled with useless junk !I tried a bite and they taste pretty good ….for dog biscuits :)Good value for the money.

Dog Tested, Owner Approved!
My boxer/rotty mix loves them! They’re a decent size, maybe 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″? Because of the size and the fact that they’re dried biscuits that will crumble if you break them up, they’re good for a treat here at home, but not suitable for a training bite. That’s what I purchased them for, which was my mistake, and it’s the only reason I’m not giving them a 5 star rating.
TKB –
Doggie Yummy
My dog loved these, and I will buy them every now and then, but they’re on the costly side for my budget; I was able to teach my pup to wait at the kitchen door rather than come in the kitchen, using these; doggie yummy.

Dog loves them but they have a very very strong fish smell. Yes – I understand they are salmon treats, however, they smell much more strongly than other fish treats I have purchased in the past.

An excellent quality treat!
Was looking for a treat at home that was as excellent quality as I could get. Not a training treat, but a once a day treat. I have always been impressed with Blue Buffalo as a whole although as a retired vet technician who studied dog food-I feed a dog food that I feel is just a little bit better. However; these treats are excellent, my German Shepherd loves the size and taste too! If I had to say one thing that is a bit bothersome is they crumble too easily. If one is tossed and caught they tend to lightly “explode” with crumbles all over the floor regardless how excellently my dog catches them! A good buy all in all!

Too pricey, just an occasional treat
They seem to like them, just to pricy, would buy them more but they are just an occasional treat.

If your dog is allergic to chicken, these are not for you!
Blue Buffalo makes some of the best dog treats. However, when I purchased these, I failed to not that they have chicken meal in them. My dog is allergic to chicken, as well as grains. My fault–it is clearly marked in the ingredients in the product description, so I am not marking them down for it. I am saving this bag for visiting dogs.

Pups Favorite Treat
Love these for my two pups. Nice knowing they are good and nutritious for them. They absolutely love the flavor. I try to give my dogs good for you treats and this is definitely my go-to dog cookies for them. I trust the brand. I can’t always find this brand in stores. And love the variety they come in. Thank you.

My dog loves them.
I’ve bought this before but this time almost the whole bag is nothing but crumbs. Little tiny pieces 😡
+or- –
Definitely crunchy
Our Shih Tzu has had many teeth removed but she still loves to crunch kibble and the occasional treat. With a sensitive constitution that includes stomach and skin issues, she has been on a diet that’s free of wheat and other things. Her food is chicken based, so I selected this turkey variety of treat and she seems to favor these over the last bag of little goodies she finally finished. This dog does not receive many treats, to be honest, she gets one in the morning after I shove an antihistamine down her throat. I break one of these biscuits into two pieces, sometimes three or four if they haven’t crumbled too much, with the opened bag on the floor and the patient dog facing the bag (and me). She then does a little trick to receive the treat which she then eats with pleasure. Since she licks the floor afterward, I can only assume that she likes the treats. I’m not happy that they crumble as much as they do but they are very dry. I’m also displeased with the bag which has a les than perfect seal. I’ll be transferring them to another airtight container.

Healthy treat
I give my dog one each morning – and she knows when it’s time for her ‘biscuit’. She loves them and gets so excited when she sees me open the package.

My dog seems to enjoy these.
Only reason for giving 4 stars, is that there are many broken treats in the bag, as well as a lot of crumbs. Probably due to shipping, but it is annoying.

Good treats.
I got these to make my cart a little more to qualify for add one. We’re not a fan of large biscuits but these seem nice and well like by our friends of the 4 leg persuasion.

Large treats_great add on item
This is a great add on item for the dogs. I have ordered the Salmon and Duck and my two dogs love them both. These are quite large treats so a bag does last for awhile; they are approximately 1 1/4″ x 1 3/8″. I selected these as they are grain free which compliments their grain free dog food. Most other treats and dog food that are not grain free upset the dogs’ stomachs and so far these do not.

Dogs love them
These have good ingredients, yummy smell and our dogs love them. Although they do crumble somewhat easy so they’re hard to break into smaller bites but whatever crumbles, we add to their food. This is our second 3 pack purchase. Good value.
Daniel J Snyder –
It is as ordered
Upon delivery it’s clearly grain free. Most veterinarian folks advise against grain free products. If I would have dug far enough, I’m sure I would have learned that before purchasing
B Hanson –
Good but crumbly
My dog really likes these & I’ve been buying them for a couple of years now, but I’m always disappointed at the amount of broken & crushed product there is at the bottom of the bag. It probably ranges anywhere from the equivalent of 5-10 biscuits.

Dog is crazy for these
Our Labradoodle loves these. He will do anything for them. I would have given them 4 stars but I think they are really big for a dog treat. Not a huge problem as we just break it into much smaller pieces. They have been great rewards as we have been training him to use the gentle lead collar (which he hates putting on). Loves them, so glad to find something he loves and I don’t worry about giving him.

Dogs love Blue Buffalo, and they love these biscuits!
My dog didn’t enjoy this flavor as much as the salmon flavor. It is still a great product. I purchased these because they were cheaper at the time and wanted to try them out.My 2 dogs prefer salmon but still ate these as treats. The price normally on these is a little higher than I would like, although they use better than average ingredients so it may be slightly justified.I wish they made slightly smaller ones so that I could give them more as rewards instead of having to break them up and make a mess.

My Neighbor Dogs LOVE EM! 1) Turkey 2) Duck
Go ahead and buy these for your dog now!As I am a scientist and dog lover, I research the quality ingredients, flavor and overall nutrition value in anything I give to my 4 legged friends. These treats are top of the line. “Turkey” slightly edges out “Duck” in my single blind doggy trial. I like bullet points compared to writing long paragraphs so please see below:-The size is approx 1.5 inches by 1.5 inches. Breaks easily by hand and small dogs can easily chew.PROs-Every single neighbor dog loves these. The doggy parents have eve asked me where I found them and what flavor as even the most discerning dogs are in love with them.-High Quality ingredients-No grains (grains can cause certain susceptible dogs rashes and itching) Proven with a dog who can’t have grains.-Perfect size for all dogs (some large dogs barely chew it)-30% minimum protein content is one of the largest in the dog food industry.-Resealable zip Bag and it lastsCONs:-Usually only found on here as “add-on” items so you should order with a larger order so it ships.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by 4 neighbor dogs, pug, retriever, pit bull and lab.

Bubba loves them!
Our Bubba is a pitador (pit bull & lab mix) and has sensitive skin and allergies which I attribute in part to certain ingredients possibly irritating his digestive system. Sometimes with other treats we’ve tried his tummy boats or is pretty unhappy. These don’t cause him any issues! Good size for one or two treats and he loves the way they taste. Perfect for my gooder boy!

My GSD loves these treats – Except Turkey variety
UPDATE: While my previous review still holds, not so for the Turkey variety. Ordered the Turkey version and my GSD immediately developed really soupy poops. Nothing else changed in her diet or routine. After 3 days, I stopped giving her the turkey treats and went back to the Salmon variety. Poops shaped up pretty quicklly (within a day). So my Heidi loves these treats, just not the turkey ones. Odd that I give her real turkey and no problemo. As with all the stuff we give our dogs, your mileage may vary.– Not much to say other than my dog really digs on these (salmon). Imagine any dog would. Gotta watch how many she gets, tho’. These treats are about 40 calories each so no more than 2 per day. Price is pretty good too.
Stephanie –
Dogs love them! Just a bit too big
My dogs like these treats although they are very large in size. I wish they were 1/2 in size. They are hard to break in half. And the design imprinted on is deep which makes it a pretty detail to look at but less actual food in each treat. If I bought a bunch of bags the lesser amount form the imprint would be significant overtime so even though I would be buying a certain amount of treats it would be a bit less than described because of the imprint. maybe I’m picky but it irks me a bit.

Really smells like the flavor!
LOVE these! I have a German Shepherd who is pretty much allergic to everything you can name, and will have a huge nasty reaction to anything besides plain meat it seems, so finding a treat that she can have is nearly impossible. She gets grain-free Duck flavored food (not Blue Buffalo) so I have bought these Duck flavored treats before, but decided to try the Salmon ones for something different. Both of them are amazing, no nasty reactions! And when you open the bag, it actually really smells like what the flavor is! Even my cat was interested in trying these. They are also a pretty big size, when we do give her a whole one it takes at least 10 seconds to eat, which is an extremely long time for her as she can eat her entire bowl of dinner in about that time. But most of the time I’ll break the treat in 1/2 or even 1/4 if sharing with my smaller dog, as the treats are big. The bags also aren’t skimpy either, I haven’t counted but they come with a lot!

Fans of BLUE
Dog use to love these but has recently turned her nose to them. Only complaint is that, without fail, the seal strip (like a zip lock bag) on every package (~20 at this writing) fails after a couple openings. The seal separates from one side (or both) sides of the package, so it’s no longer ‘sealable’. We just use a chip clip to do the job.

My girl likes these. With these treats in particular she takes them outside and buries them instead of eating them immediately. Better than I’d Hoped !!!
My Mal-Shi (Maltese-Shih Tzu mix) knew this was in the box when it arrived, not sure how, since she’s never had this before, I was concerned with previous reviews indicating the bag was too small for the price..It’s perfect !!!It’s a bag of Treats, not intended for “Din-Din”, the bag itself is an acceptable size, even for the price, and it seals to keep them fresh. Each treat is Square, almost the size of a U.S. Kennedy half-dollar. They’re easy to snap if your pup is “small”,(a little too easy, occasionally it would crumble, but she didn’t care, she just licked the crumbs.)She seems to love these because I gave her 2(one of Salmon, one of Duck-Chicken), and *every* time the bag would be moved, she’d look in its general direction {alongside the Duck/Chicken flavor}, because of this I’m very tempted to try the Food bag per se, if the Treats have that much Nutritional Value per biscuit {30% protein, grain-free no by-products} and after the 3 biscuits(I caved in and gave her 1 more, the “sad puppy eyes”) I had a challenging time getting her to eat her usual “Dinner”( she just seemed “full”), so the biscuits will be probably 1 or 2 in a day snapped in half, based on behavior and training(she’s also my Service Dog for Deaf).I intend to buy more each month as the bag finishes.Mind you, if you have a Great Dane, BullMastiff, or Newfie, you might want to buy more than 2 bags..My brothers’ young Siberian Husky enjoyed 2 biscuits, also, and seemed content, based on the Nutritional content I’d say 2-3 a day is plenty for small to medium dogs (extra small might work with 1, snapped in half)..Great price, they don’t reek…

DOGS LOVE THESE!
My two small Terriers (Westie and Cairn) are fairly new to grain-free eating (about 6 months now) but are already showing the benefit of better nutrition in their skin, teeth, coats, energy level and digestion.Along with
Taste of the Wild Dry Dog Food, Hi Prairie Canine Formula with Roasted Bison & Venison, 15-Pound Bag
variety grain free kibble, my dogs really love these Blue Buffalo Wilderness Trail Treats duck biscuits! We also buy the turkey and salmon varieties on occasion, but the duck biscuits seem to be their favorite flavor. They are easier for small dogs to chew and easier for me to break in half. The duck biscuit texture is lighter/crumblier than the turkey ones: maybe an issue if you’re actually packing them on the trail, but at home – no problem!Might I add that removing the grains and junk additives from my dogs’ diet has made yard clean up a lot easier? Good deal!I do wish the price was a bit more reasonable and that I could subscribe for regular delivery. Price might drive me to source locally – which I would hate!

Excellent balanced treat, but Shipping is issue
These treats are high protein with a reasonable caloric count for your pets. My dog loves them. The ONLY issue I have had is that the biscuits sometimes are no longer biscuits upon arrival. The shipping process must be rougher at times than others. Hard to reward your dog with crumbs. May reconsider ordering them online.

3 different breeds of dogs: FAVORITE “cookie”
PROSI can’t keep these in stock. This duck flavor, in particular, is the favorite. These are THE high value treat in my house.I have 3 dogs: 11lbs each dachshund and chihuahua and a 70lb Golden retriever and they all LOVE these dog treats (let’s be honest: the Golden and the Chihuahua are food whores and will eat anything, but) the dachshund is the pickiest eater and she will do ANYTHING for these dog biscuits we call “cookies.”CONSThey’re large (aprox 1.75” square) I do wish they’d make these 1/4 size for small breed, because as it stands, I have to break these up for the little dogs or else they’d be obese. There is a lot of waste. They crumble pretty easily and although they come in a substantial ziploc (the larger sizes come in cardboard box) even with the most care, they leave a lot of “dust” (like a half cup or more!) at the bottom of the bag– which is disconcerting because these are pricey!I’ve taken to mixing this left-over dust wtih egg whites and re-baking into biscuit shapes just to reduce waste.

Good dog treats
Blue Buffalo is a terrific company and makes really high quality products. I use their kibble for my little girl, and she’ll actually eat it – she turns up her nose at every other kibble I’ve tried. But she just didn’t like these cookies. I had to give them to a neighbor doggie – who devoured them. So I continue to recommend them, even though my dog wouldn’t eat them.

I love blue buffalo’s products, my puppy develops cysts easily so he can’t have any fatty food. Once I started feeding him blue buffalo wet food his cysts immediately went away. I haven’t used anything else for my puppy. I order Denali Stix and the wet food monthly but for some reason my puppy does not like these at all. He’ll eat them eventually but he usually drops them on the floor when I give them to him. He’s not picky about anything except these. When we had a friend’s dog over she inhaled these treats however. She was also a bigger breed dog and isn’t fed blue buffalo products usually. So as far as the quality of the product is concerned it didn’t give him any tummy troubles and other dogs liked it, just not mine. Don’t knock it until your pup tries it!

Dog likes them. Box is convenient
I leave the box open all the time on a shelf for quick access. Dog likes them a lot. I like that I don’t have to mess with a lid or a resealable feature. I suppose the biscuits might get stale……. If they do, dog doesn’t see to mind. RECOMMEND

Better for Fido.
The dog liked them. I didn’t personally taste them so I can’t give a fully accurate review when it comes to flavor. I did like that they were grain-free, it makes me feel a little better about giving them to him. They are a tad pricy but I’ll probably repurchase them again.

The dog loves them, I like them
My dog loves these things, they are hard and crunchy and he loves to chomp on them. I tried using them for training, using small pieces, and when they break apart they don’t break clean, usually, and tend to crumble in my hands. But that’s the nature of this type of treat. The dog doesn’t care too much about that though. I like them because of the ingredients and quality.

Dog was pleasantly surprised
Penny was given her biscuit after her nightly medication. Accustomed to ubiquitous large Milk Bone dog bones, she didn’t really know what to do with this foreign treat in a strange square shape. Quick, grab it; take it over to the rug. Drop it. Smell it. Check it out the mouth-feel. Yes, Penny will eat it. Wait, drop it on the rug. Sniff. Lick. Crunch. Yes, this is what she’s been missing all her life. Crunching the biscuit doesn’t look as satisfying as a Milk Bone, but, lo, how delicious it must be. Penny ran back over to shelf where I keep her medication, and stared intently at the Blue Buffalo Biscuit bag. Sadly, I must wait until tomorrow to give her the healthy, tail-wagging inspiring treat. Of course, the treat will be preceded by the medication so hard for her to swallow.

STINKY But GREAT for Dogs with Allergies!
We have a 6 year old English Bulldog and just last year, after having many skin issues escalate, our Vet did Allergy tests on her and we found out she’s allergic to Chicken, Grass, some Trees, Bees and a few other things that I have no idea what they are! Now she’s on a prescription dog food and we had to throw away all of her food and treats. I have done a lot of research on various dog foods and treats….and my search always led me back to the Blue Wilderness Treats.I can’t get her the Chicken/Turkey/Duck treats so I bought the Bayou, Denali and Meat treats. She especially loves the Alligator cookies . And they are the stinkiest ones of the bunch that I bought!Sophie LOVES these cookies! I sometimes gag when I open one of the bags – that’s how stinky they are!Best of all – there’s nothing in these cookies she can’t have. I took all of the bags to our Vet and he approved them. So if Sophie’s doc says they’re OK to give her – and she keeps taking them and devouring them – I”ll keep buying them.Sure – they’re a tad more expensive then some dog cookies you can get in bulk for a lot less money….But my dogs health is more important to us.Thanks Blue Wilderness for making treats that not only my dog loves, but that she can have!

Dog’s Special Treats
The regular grain free biscuit I buy have: Pea Flour, Chicken Meal, Pork Meal, and Pea Protein as the first four ingredients vs BLUE Wilderness that has Turkey, Chicken Meal, Potato, and Chicken Fat as its first four ingredients. Also, the BW has more Protein at 30% vs 25% and more Fat at 15% vs 6% and less Fiber at 3.5% vs 5.5%. I like that Turkey is the first ingredient – but I can get almost two-four lb bags (8 lbs) for the cost of one BW bag. So I buy one bag a month on Subscribe and Save but use these as special treats. Unfortunately, they don’t break as easily as most biscuits – I can snap them in half about 60% of the time – or they just break into little pieces. My dog is 75 lbs and they are even too big when whole for her. She usually bites it and let’s some fall out of her mouth then licks it up which gets kind of messy. My dog loves all food so I really couldn’t tell if she likes these better – but I feel better for giving her a higher quality product.

Looks like the dog treats are do it yourself from IKEA.
My dog loves these wilderness treats. Unfortunately the last bag I received was more like a bag of kibble. Very few were whole and to me that’s a pain. I give him 2-3 at a time. With them all broken up, our feedings are disrupted. So we’re they old? Exposed to heat? Can you do better because these are what I feed him. Thank youI wrote and submitted this a while back. I’m adding to the fact that it has gotten worse. Tried to upload a picture to show how much cookie dust as opposed to actual cookies I receive. Somebody has got to do better, PLEASE!

Thought my dog ‘cousin’ would love
Purchased for my uncle’s dog (a husky), thinking the salmon flavor would be liked, I know my former dog loved these. Now, this dog usually sniffs, pushes around with his nose, and the dog ignores! Not certain if the recipe changed, or simply this particular dog has haute cuisine taste and doesn’t like, lol.

I don’t know how nutritious they are or how much …
I don’t know how nutritious they are or how much “duck” is in them, but our little Cavapoo loves them. They seem to be tasty and are well tolerated. I got them on sale which I thought was a fair price. I wouldn’t buy these at the retail price though. The dogs belonging to friends and neighbors under 10 pounds or so were not able to get their mouths around these biscuits and were turned off by them. Breaking them into smaller pieces is messy. I have purchased this product several times and referred them to others.

Crunchy and easily chewable for Senior Dog
My dog loves these cookies. We call them his cookies and he gets very excited when we say, “Do you want a cookie?” My favorite thing is that they are good quality treats made by a company that really cares about our fur family and their health. My dog, Max, is a very old boy now and he has some issues chewing certain treats but these he can still enjoy. As long as they make him happy, we’ll keep giving them to him.

Loved by our pets
My dog likes them, my kitten steals the pouch and chews on it. I had to throw away the packaging and put the treats out of the cat’s reach in a heavy container. She still wants these treats. As for the treats themselves, the size is too big for a small dog, and I have to break them up.
Emilie K. Gables –
My Dogs Like Other Treats Much Better
With so many other treats available, I would not buy these again. They are grudgingly eaten when my 3 dogs realize that’s it.

No by products
Our dog really likes these dog cookies. I like the variety of flavors and there are no by product fillers.Very easy to order and have delivered directly to us. We don’t have to go to the store and find they are out of stock and/or the prices are higher.

The dog’s favourite treats
Our Labrador absolutely loves these. We buy them for her every time we visit the US.We use them as “high-value treats” except they are a bit crumbly so can be messy for training if you plan to break them up into smaller pieces.

Great treats, but contain chicken
My very picky German Shepherd loves these and the price is reasonable. I just wish there was no chicken in them since we try to avoid it, hence we feed him turkey recipe food

Yummy, crunchy treats!
My dog loves these treats and I like to buy them when they’re on sale. They’re a good size to be given whole to bigger dogs or to be broken up for training or giving to smaller dogs. They smell kind of sweet to me and the pup loves the flavor. I’d recommend them to any dog owner who can spend a little bit more on their crunchy dog treats!

Works for my Picky Pom
I have a very picky Pom. The vet asked me to change his protein sources as part of the treatment for his arthritis. He was not happy with a change from red meat to chicken and tuna.I also had to find him new snacks. Hard because he eats a lot of them…lots of the same ones. He walked away from most of the new ones I bought, but actually agrees to eat one of these every day.

Dog gets one a couple times a day and is always excited to get them. The treats don’t break up much in the bag, which is nice, but the bag zip-lic often fails. As.a result I can’t give it the full 5 stars.

Beloved by even our pickiest pup!
We have a medically fragile 9-lb terrier/maltese rescue dog who is recovering from liver damage and is so used to getting sick after she eats, it had become difficult to get her to eat. That includes various chews and biscuits…she has walked away from soooo many treats. Sometimes she’ll eat one or two treats of a new sort we bring home, but quickly decides they’re of little interest. That pleases our young lab mix who’s happy to swoop in and eat any treat that gets left on the ground for the shortest moment. These Blue Buffalo trail treats (specifically the salmon biscuits) are a completely different story–she’s a Salmon Biscuit Trail Treat enthusiast in the extreme. We’re now re-ordering–she’s been getting one or part of one every day, and shows no signs of her typical treat fatigue. It’s great to finally see her excited about eating and take her prize treat to a corner and guard it from the lab while she devours the whole thing. These aren’t super hard, I can easily break one in half for her… they’re a little over a square inch, and not quite 1/2 inch thick. If I put a few pieces in her food when she’s showing no interest in a meal, it can get her started on eating her meals too. I should mention our lab loves them as well.. but then, he’s enthused about eating carpet. And cat litter. And pine cones. His endorsement may carry less weight for some.

Our dog loves these!
Our dog loves these. She’s a small dog, around 25 lbs, and these treats are a little bigger so we break them in half for her. My only complaint is the bag. This is the second time we’ve gotten them and the sealing mechanism on the bag has ripped both times so we end up having to keep in a gallon ziploc bag.

A healthy cookie to maximize your dog’s treat puzzles
A great product, about as affordable as you are going to get & still avoid grains in your dog’s diet, and treats are still a part of your dog’s diet. These cookies, about an inch and three quarters square, fit nicely into the large dental Kong dumb bell and the Large black regular Kong toy. They hold together well so that my 9 month old Rottweiler takes a good 20 to 35 minutes to work it out. She loves the treats and it keeps her preoccupied while your attention is directed elsewhere for short periods. The downside to this product: They are a bit on the pricey side for the amount you get AND there are quite a few broken cookies in each bag, especially so when they are shipped in the mail. If you can deal with that, give these treats a try. They are a regular staple of my girl’s treat supply.

Dogs LOVE
I buy these as small treats for reward (training treats). My grand dog takes a pill every morning that cannot be chewed so I have to push it to the back of her throat. I immediately give her one of these to make her swallow. Then she gets another one or two for just being cute! I think Blue Wilderness is really a quality company.
