Fancy Feast Senior Wet Cat Food Chicken Feast Minced Gravy
My very picky Senior kitty will eat this Senior version of Fancy Feast Minced Chicken with Gravy. But it’s hit or miss with her. Sometimes she loves it and sometimes she refuses it. I have to say she actually prefers the Fancy Feast Chicken Gravy Lovers one over this one by far! She will eat it every time! However this one works in a pinch if we can’t find her favorite.

My cat gobbles it down.
My 13 year old cat loves this treat. I give it to him twice a week because I can not afford to give it to him as his main dish. He knows what day he gets it and won’t leave me alone when his time comes until I give it to him. Very good product.

Very happy wet
I’ve tried a variety of brands of wet cat food for both of my cats. Everything from pate in gravy to broth to chunks and gravy to added gravy. You can add on top of food and nothing was successful until I found this brand. It’s one of the few companies that offer a variety pack that doesn’t have seafood because for some reason my cats don’t enjoy seafood. The size of the cans is perfect. The texture is perfect. The gravy is actual gravy and not water. I couldn’t be happier to have found something that might cats truly enjoy. They enjoy it so much that by the time they’re done with their bowl, they’re already asking for more.

It’s better for older cats, and mine love the taste!
My cats are both over 7 years old, my female is closer to 14, and I would do anything for the both of them! It’s comparable in price to most other can cat foods. My guy usually like fish flavors, and pate form. So far, I have only seen the senior forms in pate in beef beef and also in chicken.Has anyone else found the Senior form in Pate in any fish flavors?? Please let me know!

Fancy Feast Appetizers – Cats Love it!
Our 3 cats can’t wait for their breakfast of Fancy Feast Appetizers. They eat it up and are so content with this product. We have tried numerous varieties with so-so results and now there is no going back. We recommend the appetizers (but not the pate and not the broth, they don’t care for those). In the pet food industry, we want the manufactures to keep stepping it up with quality, taste, and nutrition.

My cat plum has the most pickiest pallet. He used to only eat friskies shreds. But I suppose he got tired of it because now he will look at it and glare at you. I have tried sheba, blue Buffalo, nine lives, and all the flavors or friskies. Much money spent later it was all a hard no. My other cats were fine with any wet food. The go into a frenzy when I give them their daily wet food, they have dry food throughout the day. So I bought this is hopes he may like it, if not I can always just use it as back up food. And Plum loves this. He actually eats the whole thing!

The old Cat loves it.
Ms. Elderly Puddycat was getting an envelope of the “Lickable Treats” for almost five years as an evening treat. A couple of years ago, there was a shortage of a lot of Cat food, as some will remember.In the absence of her preferred goodies, I grabbed a half-dozen cans of this.She prefers it, and dives into it quite eagerly. First time every time. On top of everything else, it’s cheaper by the serving.The Cat approves.

My two 18 year old cats suddenly stopped eating their favorite Fancy Feast flavors. I was very worried until I bought the 12 can senior Hi-Protein for 7+ cats. They cleaned their plates of the beef flavor and were reliable in eating the other flavors, too. I don’t eat beef or any “red” meat so I was wary about the effect on my cats. So far they are active and happy getting fed small portions frequently during the day (and night) with a fresh dish of Pro-Plan adult turkey and rice Indoor Hairball dry food along with their “wet” food in case they need a bite when I am not here to feed them a small portion of their new favorite: Beef for senior cats.

I love how it comes in a cube but I am not happy about the small size. I would prefer 5 oz cans. I wouldn’t mind the extra cost and they would last longer and I wouldn’t have to order them so often. Fortunately our cats love the flavors.

Doing my best to care for my aging girls (one is diabetic)
Fancy Feast senior minced is a pretty good compromise for my senior kittens. One is diabetic, but it’s very hard to get her to eat only pate and this food is pretty high in protein. Even if it does have a little higher carb than she should eat, it’s better that she get some carbs than not eat.The food itself is acceptable quality. It’s my observed opinion that the quality of Fancy Feast has declined over the decades since Purina purchased this “gourmet” brand, but I do still rely upon them for maintaining at least some standards of safety and nutrition. I’m told that Purina annual pet food sales are around 12 billion dollars, so am I going to do better with another manufacturer working with available resources?My average is about one can per case destroyed. There was a time that I would have been livid about one destroyed can per case, It’s enough that I’m paying twice what it cost me about 4 years ago. What do you do about that? Ask to return? Not when you’re fortunate to even find a case of what you choose in stock without buying it from third party scalpers.Conclusion: I’m taking what I can get and doing the best that I can. Overall I think Purina is also trying their best to maintain standards.

Expensive for what you get but my cats like them.
These aren’t the most nutritious in the world but they’re an acceptable compromise since my fussy beasts won’t eat the vet recommended egregiously expensive stuff. I wish they’d come in just a slightly larger unit. They’re costly and it’s hard to get all the product out of the can. Still, the box is recyclable and so are the cans if you wash them.

I have to say she actually prefers the Fancy Feast Chicken Gravy Lovers one over this one by far! She will eat it every time! However this one works in a pinch if we can’t find her favorite.
