I purchased this with an automatic egg cooker, which I totally love! I like that this has an egg punch that doesn’t crack the shell and it also comes with a little cutter for a decorative touch for serving deviled eggs. I keep both of these on my counter for quick and easy access.So glad I got this handy little gadget!

I am not a cook. I enjoy making breakfast for my wife in the mornings. Anything that adds a little flair is welcome. This is very easy to use and clean. Makes your boiled eggs attractive on the plate.

It works like a charm
I bought an Egg steamer Dash Go Rapid Egg Steamer, and needed something to cut up hard boiled eggs. It works like a charm. No more messes. I make breakfast bagel sandwiches with ham or turkey and cheese and it’s great with sliced eggs, so easy and quick to make. Very solid and well made kitchen gadget.

great quality price ratio
Coming from a cheap low quality slicer. It is a bit big however I found you would have to pay a bit more for a smaller one slicing and wedging. I found the piercer very useful and I like the safety knob. I did not use the small “decorating” knife much however it does not bother me when it falls off. I found this very easy to clean, I use mostly just hot water and finger friction. I’d be interested however in how others are cleaning their unit.

Sturdy versatile egg slicer
Cuts an egg in many different styles. It even has an egg piercer. It is very sturdy which I love. I spent more in hopes it will last longer.

All in one egg slicer
Great to have a slicer that does multiple things. It can slice eggs cross-wise, length-wise, & in wedges. It also has an egg piercer & a small tool that can be used to decorate the eggs. The only problems are that the small tool falls out easily & the piercer’s lock does not hold shut well & you can stick yourself on it if you are not careful. All in all it is well worth the money & I even bought one for my daughter (who shares the same opinion & problems that I listed above).

It’s seems to be well made.
I can use it to slice strawberries. For strawberry shortcake. I have not had it long enough to find all the uses for it. I am very happy with so far

Works great, stabs often, has tiny part
Works very well. As others have said, family will insist on stabbing themselves on the egg piercer even agpfter being warned, if you use the dishwasher, the small part that is for cutting the egg is gonna get lost.

I think this is a necessity
My mother always boils, peels and then chops eggs up too fing small like soup. I fing hate that. I got this, to give to her at xmas. I told her I dont like egg salad chopped into a soup. Perhaps this will help, so 5 stars to give her the fing hint.

An egg slicer but a whole lot more.
I got this to slice eggs but the other side I thought was just a gimmick,not so ! This tool stays on the counter top because it’s used every day. Breakfast to cut strawberries and preparing mushrooms for dinner. It also slices Kiwi nice and thin. Great product.

Nice versatile product
Does a nice, clean job of slicing hard boiled eggs. The built in egg shell piercer is of great value. Very easy to use (hidden when not in use – no accidental finger pricks) no more cracked shells when soft or hard boiling eggs. Easy clean up.

Its two in one I like it!
Nice product I haven’t used it yet but I’m looking forward to it I’ve never heard of an egg piercer so I end up pushing on it and poke my finger I still give this five stars because you get two different ways to cut your eggs. I don’t plan on using the egg piercer but it’s a nice little gadgets to have on there. I’ll say get it. Its worth it.

Great, multi-purpose egg slicer!
Well made, sturdy multi-purpose egg slicer, piercer and decorative tool. I’ve been using it on boiled and home-pickled eggs (a little firmer than regular boiled eggs) and it’s done a great job. Very versatile, seemingly sturdy (I’ve only had it a week or two, though have used it several times) and easy to clean. So far, so good!

You know how when you use a knife to slice hard boiled eggs and the yolk sticks to the knife and then it gets harder to cut and the cuts start to look like tears and the… ? No more with this egg slicer (sorry, garnish tool). Fast, easy, beautiful slices. Makes me smile!

We highly recommend this item. The side by side option of being able to slice eggs in either 6 crescent slices for salad or in the traditional egg slices is nice. The appliance is bigger than the traditional egg slicer so if you have the room for storage, I highly recommend it. Also, it is easy to clean and came out like brand new from the top rack of the dishwasher.

OK but could be better.
Does a nice job of slicing eggs. They could make it a little better by angling the egg cups toward the hinged slicer. I have to push the egg toward the hinged part or it sort of mushes off the outer edge and gets squashed rather than cut as the slicer comes down at an angle.Not enough of an annoyance to downgrade this one until someone comes out with the better alternative.this is definitely better than the single cutter tools.

Convenient
I was looking for a dual egg slicer/wedger and this is perfect.I do have to add something. This also inculdes an egg piercer which I had not realized until I pressed what looked like a button and stabbed my finger. It does have a lock which is nice but I would keep this away from curious kids… or just show them what it is and I’m sure they wont want to touch it. 🙂

My last egg slicer was all metal. The slicing wires got all bent up, so did the part that held the egg, so it was terrible to work. This design looks like it will hold up real well. Plus I got four items for the price of one. So far, it works great. For the cost, I am very happy.

Great Slicers, Careful of the piercer
Love this little gadget, but be careful of the piercer, it will get you. There is a spring loaded cap covering the piercer. The spring is pretty weak, so the protective cover presses down easily, causing the piercer to pierce whatever comes in contact with it.The two slicers work like a charm!!

Fancy or just slicing, a simple plastic tool; that really works
Until I got this egg slicer, I’d never bothered with piercing and garnish. Now I made some deviled eggs that got raves and “how did you do that” comments. Great product, not used everyday, but necessary if one wants to get fancy.

I’m so happy to find this egg slicer. I had one, for many years, and it came apart.This one, is a much sturdier construction, and I like that it is side by side. Sometimes, you feel like a “wedge” and other times a “slice”. Depends if you want in a salad, or on a sandwich.Thanks for having this product available for all to purchase. I enjoy using it.

Great Egg Slicer
I grew up using a similar egg slicer. I much prefer this design with music wire for the blades. You cannot hurt yourself on the slicer and it is VERY easy to clean.

Perfect egg slicer
Punching a hole in the end of an egg when making them hard boiled is the best way to get them to peel when they are cooled. Having the two different slicers is great. When I was younger, we always had hard boiled egg sandwiches, and there was always a slicer available.

Handy slicer!
I will admit I have a fear of accumulating gadgets in my kitchen but this one is awesome! I love how quickly it slices boiled eggs, mushrooms, strawberries, and kiwi! I haven’t used the piercer on the front but I tried the decorating knife attached in the middle back and it made cute eggs and strawberries. I don’t know that I will necessarily have a use for that, but it was included.

I love this thing, but wish it came in 2 pieces so o didn’t have to wash both slicers all the time once I use one side! I recently purchased this for the second time. My first one got left of the back of the stove while the oven was in use, the hot air coming up melted the old one!

It slices! It dices!
This thing is awesome for preparing eggs. It’s pretty much exclusive to eggs, but it does everything and really efficiently. It has a little metal spike on a spring for breaking through the shell to help peel hardboiled eggs (or if you’re into easter egg dying and blowing out the yolk, this’ll work for that too. I still have no idea how people do that).Just don’t do what I did, and go “ooh, what’s this do? … Ow.”There isn’t much in the way of directions for using it, so you’ll kinda have to figure it out as you go, but one mangled egg is a small price to pay for convenience and easy-to-clean kitchen gadgetry.

Fun and useful kitchen gadget
I purchased this primarily as an egg piercer and as such, it does a perfect job, I haven’t had an egg crack when boiling since I started using it. However, the fun part of the tool is the fancy cutter side. It works and makes very attractive hard boiled egg halves to dress up a salad or to make even fancier deviled eggs. I haven’t used the slicer yet, but I’m sure that it works just fine. I try to keep my kitchen gadgets to a minimum, but this is one that I will continue to use.

I love this but my son loves it even more. He says he gets the perfect ratio of egg white and yolk in every bite…lol.Seriously though, if you eat as many hard boiled eggs as I do, this is totally worth it.

I am doing my review over ( sept 2015 purchase) and I give this 5 stars now ! it’s gone in the dishwasher, I’ve used it for small apples, even onions and it still works great. Of course it is great for eggs ! I recommend! !

I love that this comes in two different sizes
I love that this comes in two different sizes. I use the bigger one for hard boiled eggs at breakfast and the slicer for my egg salads. The only thing I would change is that the two sizes would separate that way it wouldn’t take up so much space in the dishwasher. Love love this though!

Great little hard-boiled egg slicer!
This is a great little hard-boiled egg slicer. It seems pretty durable…plastic and wire. Has some great slicing modes: Length-wise (6 slices); and Cross-wise (11 slices). There is also a third mode that requires a push-slice zig-zag effect (2 halves of an egg). A push-pin is provided to poke an egg prior to boiling. The color is white.

Versitile tool.
I love this egg slicer. I eat a lot of eggs – I slice hardboiled eggs into my salads and make a lot of egg salad – the joys of Paleo! 😉 This is one of my go-to kitchen tools. I had an aluminum egg slicer that became discolred and would discolor the eggs I sliced. I’m not a big fan of plastics in the kitchen, but this egg slicer is one exception. I like that I have the option to slice the eggs different ways and I don’t have to fear that funky stuff will end up in my eggs. I LOVE IT and I highly recommend this product to others!!

What an obviously useful product that is very well made! I have purchased egg slicers before from different sources and was immediately disappointed with the quality and performance of them! The wires of this slicer/wedger are tight and strong enough for mushrooms, olives, and practically anything else I can fit in there! A slicer that functions this well was well worth it but finding a wedger has been getting very difficult in the local stores. I purchased one for myself and one for my daughter, a nice little gift that she appreciated very much! David

Does exactly what I purchased it for. Perfect for slicing eggs for egg salad. It is a little cumbersome as it is larger than a solo egg slicer but not annoyingly so. Purchased this with the Dash Rapid Egg Cooker and it’s the perfect compliment! Deviled eggs are a breeze to make now.

Very nice egg slicer. I read about so many and finally decided on this one. I have only used it on eggs and it workd beautifully. I like the wedge feature. The slicers I have had in the past said I could slice mushrooms. I tried it. That is why I had to buy a new slicer. I am hesitant to try it. Don’t want to spring a wire rendering it useless. Very nice slicer.
