Barbara A McArdle –
I loved this under eye brightner from the first time I used it! I am 63 and have been looking for a product that would replace my liquid concealer. This product is fantastic!
C. M. Host –
I was unsure of the texture at first. It’s a cream but it dries to a soft matte finish. The color is peachy and blends out the discoloration of my eyelids and under eyes.
RACHAL PUJOL –
I never write reviews but this stuff reallllllly works & you can see it working after just a few moments after you put it on. Really helps diminish dark circles & gives you such a fresh glow to your eyes. I def recommend it, 100% legit!

I’m a pale face and not really into hyped products or tips and tricks (I’m lazy) but as I am always tired all the time and also no longer a teenager, I thought I’d try this “dupe” for another product. I’ve never tried the other product, nor would I at its price point, but this one is ridiculously affordable for a little pot that will last forever. Best part is that it just works. I thought it might look shimmery or too pale or too much like a pink color over my dark circles but no – it just blends and then I don’t look so exhausted. Love it.
Lisa –
I usually don’t write reviews but I had to with this product… It does exactly what it says it does! I’m 62 years old with dark circles and a changing face. My face doesn’t look or act the same with make up. So my tried and true make up and methods no longer work. Getting old blows btw. So, I’ve had to try new things and new ways of applying them to look kind of what I used to look like. Not even close but whatever. Buying and trying new make up can get expensive but not this product. For only six bucks, not only did my dark circles disappear but it didn’t hurt my wallet… At all. I just received this today, tried it and turned around and bought another one before the price went up! That’s how good it was. It’s a small container but alittle will go a very long way. This old woman loves this so don’t hesitate for a second. Grab it while you can!
GlamLab –
I have dark circles that I’ve always battled. Like the kind that doesn’t go away with more sleep and water. This helps so significantly it almost seems like magic. It doesn’t crease which is also fantastic. Using this also helps me save on my expense concealer and foundation. I’ve been using it for a few months and I still haven’t hit the bottom. I use my finger for a heavier application or my beauty blender for a couple lighter coats in some areas.
Sandra –
this product is actually super good, it’s one of my staples in my routine! i saw instant brightening when using this product. i put it on under my concealer and it makes a huge difference.
Amber Harvey –
Love this product! I have dark circles under my eyes that I’ve had since I was a kid. I can never find anything to neutralize them but this works wonders. No makeup days I wear this alone and then days where I wear a full face I put just a dab of concealer on top and it works great
VAL A. –
This lightens and brightens up my under eye area nicely.
Angie –
This goes on a fingertip like a gel but blends like a cream. Let it dry before a concealer goes on. It is awesome! Wear alone or under concealer.
EO –
Works well on dark circles under eyes. It does seem to settle into any creases.
vera nedeau –
I was looking for a light weight blurring cream that hides discoloration. Voila! I put this on around my eyes, cheeks, forehead, and chin. Then for a few swipes of face powder and I’m out the door. I hate heavy makeup. And I’m 55 years old. This adds a youthful glow
Fab 4th and 5th Grade –
I am over 50 and was hesitant to buy, because I don’t want to accentuate my fine lines and wrinkles. This brightens without drawing attention to my fine lines and wrinkles. Will purchase again.
Kris –
Medium coverage
MNaatz –
This under eye ” brightener” is soft and creamy. Is goes on smoothly with the tip of my finger. It does help to brighten the dark circles under my eyes. It is different than other concealers. It is nice and sheer and doesn’t look like regular concealer. It does not look like thick concealer or foundation. I have only used it a few times, but I am pleased with it. I ordered one for my mom also.
Myrtle –
This really does brighten up dark circles, although it does not fully cover. It is very moisturizing and does not cake on my super dry skin. I am surprised how often I end up using it by itself and not add concealer. Brilliant product. I only wished it included SPF.
Christy Alonso –
Seen this again on TickTock and Is ALL THE HYPE yaaaaaasssss gurls love it and it has lasting power. You may already known this buy tip of the day place on product and then set with powder. Amazing product!
Penny –
I like this pretty well. I did get more then my money’s worth. The price for this is amazing. Usually when you buy something really cheap it works like crap but this here works pretty good. I’ve expensive ones that work really crappy so I was surprised that this one worked pretty good.
Medea –
Shine but doesn’t hide completely darkness under eye and after time gets oily… Needed powder for fixation.
Christy –
I don’t wear a lot of makeup but i wanted something to cover the dark circles during allergy season. Blends well on my 48 year old skin and is perfect for my no makeup, makeup look. It’s a light coverage which I really like.
Chris –
This concealer does cover dark circles and illuminates the eyes. Make sure to wear a moisturizer first and blend in gently. Also covers dark spots.
Lisa Hellen –
Works just “ok” for undereye curcles, however works great as a light foundation on face.
Elizabeth Ochs –
I have very dark hollows under my eyes, I am fair skinned and it’s not a pigmentation problem but a thin skin problem. So my problem is not easily camouflaged. I would use this more as a highliter to illuminate the edge of my hollows and for the lines around my mouth. It’s a very emollient product and feels lovely on. Just not quite opaque enough for me, Bobbie Brown’s light Bisque corrector is the best I’ve found but will likely keep using this as stated above. For someone with light to medium bluish under eyes this would be great.
Shannon Lipscomb –
I buy products based on reviews, so I am here to tell you that you will not be upset if you get this product. I have bad under eye darkness. This product does not necessarily cover, but highlights or luminates the under eye area. A very small amount is needed. I will be purchasing this product again once I run out my current container.
momw/2girlz –
I love the lightweight creamy formula. I have Italian genes and my dark circles are a big insecurity for me. I use this color corrector everyday! Most days I use a concealer over it but on my “no makeup” days I just use this product. I sell cosmetics for a living (I DID NOT receive this product for promotion. I paid full price) and like to sample products outside of what I sell. I’m impressed!!
Rae Z –
I’ve spent $$$ on what I’ve read about + been recommended as “the best of the best” under eye concealers available on the market for decades…This one is incredibly inexpensive yet more effective & long lasting than any other one I’ve ever used! Just make sure you use an under eye moisturizer beforehand & wait for it to dry before application if you tend to have dry under eye skin as I do as it’ll look slightly flaky (but that’s true of any under eye concealer I’ve ever used when applying over dry under eyes). Highly recommended & immediately bought a 2nd less than 12 hours after my 1st one arrived b.c it worked so well & lasted longer than any other one as far as I can recall that I became immediately obsessed & it’ll definitely be a part of my permanent all-time favorite makeup products!

I have dark hollows under my eyes. Short of filler nothing is going to help. So I’m on a never ending search for concealers and brighteners to minimize the darkness. I have tried so many brands. I thought I’d found the best with First Aid Beauty Eye Duty Niacinamide Brightening Undereye Cream, it’s moisturizing and does a decent job of reflecting light to give the appearance of brighter under eyes. But then I tried the Catrice, and while it’s not quite as moisturizing as the Eye Duty, the result is so much better. I’d say it brightened my circles by at least 50% or more. That’s a drastic difference.
A person. –
Applied both and this $6 product is better than Becca’s $33 product. It applies way better and looks way better and doesn’t sink into lines. The Catrice is a bit thinner than Becca’s so if you’re also using it as an eye primer know that Catrice is a bit less ‘tacky’.I did a ‘blind’ test where I applied one side to my left and one to my right and my husband said the Catrice looked better, so this is the case where a dupe is better, and cheaper than the original!
mom2008 –
This is a good under eye brightened. You do have to be careful with application, less is more because it can get cakey. Nothing beats my Trish Macivoy eye brighter but this one is a fraction of the price. I can use it everyday and save Trish for when I am going out.
Constance Gaughan –
This undereye corrector is so light and easy to blend. I don’t see creases throughout the day. The price is excellent ….Run and buy you will love it.
debdeb –
So I’m over 50 and never had dark circles until now. I applied after eye cream with a brush. I used pink color. Put some in corner of my eye then under eye. It drys so it doesn’t smudge your lower lid makeup. Works great, as well as eye bright.
Rebecca Forster –
This is definitely a subtle but beautiful eye brightener. The only drawback is that I find it is very silky and my mascara sometimes smudges. Could be my mascara. I have however found putting it on the side and then the inside of the eye works really well too. I’ve also used as a highlighter on my brow with my eyeshadow. Very happy with this purchase.
francine –
Really hides dark circles. I still use concealer , put on foundation, and use this for last step. Makes eyes look brighter.
LCrump –
This truly brightens the under eye area!!! I use after moisturizing. I pat it on with my ring finger for less tugging on that delicate skin. Works well under foundation. I don’t even have to use concealer when I use this!
Hayley Cleckler –
This was the first time I have purchased the Catrice Under Eye Brightener, but it won’t be the LAST! This product is very creamy and a perfect peach color that blended well under my eyes. It immediately gives the look of “I have slept a full 8 hrs” and I must say, as a mom, I am ALL About that!
Pam –
Over the years I have purchased several concealers some expensive and some not just trying to find one that works. Well girls this was does and for a cheap price. It highlights your eyes too. I do not wear liquid foundation as I’m 69 years old and it looks bad when I do. This I can put on a few dark spots (sun spots and it covers them and blends in and can’t tell it’s a cover up. Does cover dark circles under the eyes which was the main reason I wanted it. Dab just a little on brush with loose powder and I’m good to go! I want ever use anything else again.
Sanibelle –
I read about this in some magazine and immediately ordered some. The $6 price makes it a sensational bargain. It glides on smoothly, and although it doesn’t eliminate under eye bags, it makes your face look brighter. It is so comfortable that I look forward to putting it on in the morning. It works better than some other high priced creams I have purchased.
June –
This pink cream really does brighten up my eyes, it has a bit of a Pearlized look but not obvious just a tad of shimmer. I’m 57 so I’m not wanting to draw attention to smile lines or any creases, this cream is pretty amazing!!! I’ll buy it again but it’s gonna last, a little goes a long way🌻
Roza Gevorgyan –
I had high hopes for this corrector but it’s way too oily for even my dry under-eyes, i wish it was a bit less oily and more pigmented with higher coverage. I can only use this concealer in winter i think
Emily –
Covers the dark circles really well! It does tend to get caked in wrinkles if I wear it alone, but I found that adding a little liquid foundation over it works perfectly! Such a fresh, bright look!
Suzie –
Love it.. not as covering as my Bobbi brown corrector but it’s buildable and hydrating..
Elsie –
TI saw someone on a tiktok recommending this and thought I’d try it. The light pink shade looks super natural on my pale skin. Sometimes it creases a little bit but I’ve found if you don’t use too much and set it with a translucent pattern that doesn’t happen.
kristina erhart –
This little pink pot o’ tinted cream is perfect for covering under-eye dark circles and detracts from puffiness. It blends well and does fine over an under eye moisturizer. I just got TWO more to have one in my purse, one for travel, and one at home. I highly recommend.
Misty Bullerdick –
Tried and loved this product. Goes on so smooth. Brightens the dark circles under my eyes. Would recommend! Lasts all day.
Wendy Reyes-Justo –
this is the holy grail of under eyes corrector, totally brightens my under eyes!!! the good thing is that I don’t. have to follow with concealer
festivelady826 –
I’ve never needed concealer until the last year or so. As one ages, the skin thins noticeably and the blue veins under the eyes can’t be covered with just foundation anymore. I haven’t found a concealer that I like, but I love this product. It not only covers the veins but it really does brighten the face around the eyes. It’s easy to apply and lasts all day. I didn’t realize that it came in different colors and I purchased the 010 Light Rose. I have fair skin with neutral undertones and the pink was actually perfect. And can we talk price? This product is a steal! I would gladly have paid triple that price because it makes such a difference in brightening my face and it doesn’t sit in my fine lines and wrinkles. If you have dark circles or blue/purple veins under your eyes, you need this. It works much better than concealer alone and it performs admirably on my almost-seventy years old face!
Alexis B –
This product is very effective in brightening under-eye dark circles. My only issue with it is that it’s sticky and a bit greasy after application and doesn’t do very well under makeup. It does accentuate crease lines under the eye due to it. That said, I still would prefer it over dark circles so I will be using it anyway and figure something out.

The title of my review covers my main thoughts on this product. But I’m a firm believer that cosmetics and other skin products do not belong in the “one-size-fits-all” category. Everyone has different skin types, issues, and lifestyles. So the more info someone can get about how a product worked for a certain kind of person and how that person used it, the better they can decide if it’s worth trying for themselves.Read on if you want more info. I’ll put headers so you can skip to what you think is important.*If you don’t feel like reading, just know: I’d mainly recommend this product as a subtle under eye brightener for someone with normal to dry or wrinkled/creased skin. It’s not the best product out there, but it does a great for the current price. I think it’s good value. It can work for someone who prefers a low maintenance skin routine or a person who really likes to experiment with cosmetics to achieve a specific look.)WHICH COLOR I BOUGHT AND WHY: I purchased the pink-toned undereye brightener since I have really fair (mostly neutral toned) skin. The skin under my eyes can look very dull and dry sometimes, but it doesn’t really turn a very noticeable dark tone. Occasionally, it may take on a very faint bluish-purple hue.WHAT DROVE ME TO TRY THIS SPECIFIC PRODUCT? I actually bought this along with another product that promised to create a similar look, but which seemed like a formula that better fit my lifestyle. (It came in small tube with an applicator and was waterproof.I tend to look for cosmetics that offer convenience, can fit safely in my pocket without breaking, have maximum staying power, and that are non-comedogenic.) However, I also decided to try this under eye brightener because I read that it was non-drying and kind of moisturizing. I recently dried the heck out of the skin under my eyes, and I figured I needed something that could help with damage control until I could handle the other product. (Waterproof and no-budge cosmetics tend to be drying.) I also liked how reviewers were consistently saying this product was very sheer, subtle, and not glittery or too sparkly. I was on the hunt for something “brightening” as in illuminescent, glowing, or even slightly pearlescent. I definitely did not want anything glittery, sparkly, metallic, etc.WHAT IS MY SKIN TYPE & ANY ISSUES I’M HAVING RIGHT NOW THAT MAKES THIS PRODUCT IDEAL FOR ME? I have combination type skin right now… oily in the T-zone, but more normal to dry around my cheeks and especially under my eyes. I have to use an oil-controlling, mattifying product daily. Otherwise, parts of my face will look outrageously shiny/greasy. But I kind of got lazy with my skin care and makeup routine as the weather got colder and dryer. I started overusing the shine control products and applying it recklessly. I was applying a super drying mattifying serum/primer all over my face… even blending it under my eyes, knowing I absolutely did not need any oil-absorbing or otherwise drying products in that specific area.Next thing I knew, my undereye skin was dull and somewhat patchy looking. My normal undereye concealer just wasn’t cutting it anymore. In fact, since my skin became so dried out, the various concealers I would normally use all looked streaky, creased, and/or dry within minutes to hours. They made me look sloppy, tired, or older. I did try using a heavier moisturizer around my eyes, and it was helping to get my skin back to normal… just not as quickly as I wanted. And for some reason, it was causing some of my concealers to lose a lot of coverage power or to eventually settle on my face in a very streaky or creased way. Then this little miracle finally arrived!WHAT WAS MY FIRST IMPRESSION OF THIS PRODUCT? I was honestly skeptical when I first saw it and touched it. It has a very pink tone when it’s just sitting in the container. There didn’t appear to be anything “brightening” about it. It looked like a thick, strongly pigmented salmon pink paste. And then I touched it with my finger. I would say it has a texture that’s in between a gel-like cream and a balm. Very slippery. I was worried I just wasted my money on a weird pink-colored balm that was going to melt down my face within an hour or so.I was wrong. With this product, less is more. (That also means there is a lot of product in the tiny pot. So for the price, it’s an excellent value.) The product applied smoothly under my eyes. I didn’t like how it looked at first, but I realized I had just applied too much… and I applied it over other makeup that had already dried out on my skin. When I tried again with less product and a clean face, I was very happy with the results. The product is VERY SHEER. Don’t expect it to cover any blemishes or really dark spots. I wouldn’t really call it shimmery either. It basically reflects light in a way that makes your dull or slightly darkened skin less noticeable. It has a subtle and natural looking effect. The first time I wore it without any other cosmetics on, my daughter commented that I looked like I finally caught up on some sleep. She actually asked to take a closer look at my face. She noticed I looked “better,” but couldn’t figure out why. It’s the perfect product for anyone trying to achieve the deceiving “no makeup” look. (Not gonna lie… it feels good when people really believe you just naturally look youthful and vibrant.)The makeup worked well with my moisturizer, and I feel like it helped restore my skin to it’s normal state. I’d say it has some moisturizing properties to it. If anything, it’s at least non-drying.As far as longevity, this product doesn’t have much staying power at all. As my skin returned to a more normal state, the undereye cream became easier to accidentally wipe off or to just naturally fade away after a few hours.I didn’t dock a star for that because I kind of liked reapplying it mid-day. It feels slightly cooling. I also found a work around for the longevity problem!HOW I TYPICALLY USE IT: I mostly use this undereye brightener to enhance my other plain undereye concealers (which are mostly medium coverage). I’ll mix the two products together on the back of my hand or directly on my face. I get most of the coverage and staying power of my normal concealer, and the light reflecting and overall brightening properties of this product. I sometimes apply it to my brow bone or the inner corners of my eye, too. The other similar product I mentioned at the start of this review turned out to be very waterproof and smudge-resistant. But it was also very drying, heavily pigmented, and difficult to blend despite being a liquid. I found that it actually blends very well with this product, though. And the two combined make for a brighter, less subtle look with enough staying power to last a good 14 hrs or so. The two combined are better for carefully applying around the eyes with a makeup sponge for a contouring effect.Basically, I found this undereye brightener to be great when used alone or to enhance other cosmetics. I like it. It’s very versatile. If you decide to try it, just make sure you’re not allergic to any ingredients and you pick the appropriate color to match your skin tone and needs. If it doesn’t work well the first time you apply it, play around with it a bit. My daughter is a very young adult. She has borrowed this eye brightener to rub on parts of her face for a natural-looking dewy, glowing complexion. (I can’t get away with that due to my combination type skin type.)OTHER HELPFUL INFO: If you’re like me and rely on waterproof liquid eyeliner, you should know that this will negatively affect your eyeliner’s staying power. When the two cosmetics are overlapped at any point, the eyeliner seems to lose its water-resistance abilities. In fact, this undereye cream can actually remove/dissolve some really strong waterproof liquid liners. I think because it’s kind of oily/greasy in a way. (Kind of like Pond’s cold cream will remove super stubborn eyeliner.Except this eye brightener is not THAT strong.)I only line the top of my lids, but my eyes kind of slope downwards. So, I try to be careful not to blend this undereye cream too close to my lower lashline (in case it transfers to my upper eyelids) or too close to the outer sides of my eyes. So far, that tactic had worked for me.

I am 49 with dry under eyes and darkness. This product does its job with brightening up area with light concealing of dark circles. It is a hydrating formula with a slippery type consistency which works well for my dry under eye but if you have oily skin under eyes you may not like this product. I really like it so far and would repurchase again 👍🏼
Heather –
It does lighten around the eye area nicely but it tends to accentuate my wrinkles.
Olivia L. –
I use this under my tarte creaseless concealer. I’m 45 and have dryer skin so most stuff looks cakey. This is a game changer
Black Cat under the Moon –
WOW, and for $6???? SO I am 56, and when I hang around the house with my guy I look like a wet rat, I don’t wear much makeup and don’t wanna get all done up or use any when we aren’t doing much. When I leave to go somewhere I normally wear at least concealer, a combination blush contour, and maybe some shadow on lower and upper lids. I always feel ok doing this when I’m just doing errands etc. When I go out at night I do more, and more eyes, mascara, and foundation, lip gloss, etc, and I look a lot better like that but I don’t wanna do it every day during the week, so around the house I just accept that I look tired with my under eye circles… So I have been searching for something that is easy and QUICK, is moisturizing to do some benefit to my eye area wrinkles, for days when I just lounge around as I feel ugly with my purple bags… THIS is AMAZING! This is sooooo nice and creamy and EASY and I can just dab some on and blend and a little blush and it makes a world of difference… I love it and you should buy it! I have seen video reviews, mostly very good, about this stuff, but when concealer is applied on top I think it kinda defeats the purpose of wearing this. It is an excellent product for home and just lounging, or a very natural glow to mask the under eye purple… it is VERY creamy and gives a nice natural under eye healthy glow.. You MUST try it!

This under the eye product goes on easy and gives your eyes some nice brightness and also helps with dark circles. Recommend purchasing.

Lightweight on skin and covers under eye circles
